Long service life is ensured by brushless technology and a robust die-cast aluminium gearbox and motor housings. This combination hammer features two functions: hammer drilling and chiselling. Metabo VibraTech (MVT) with dual damping includes a decoupled handle and an impact-absorbing counter-vibration mass that actively reduce vibrations for the well-being of employees, even during continuous use. The ergonomically shaped, slim handle area includes a large throttle switch for comfort. An easily accessible locking switch allows for chiselling in continuous operation. Vario-Tacho-Constamatic (VTC) full-shaft electronics provide material-specific speeds that remain constant under load. There is an optional reduction of speed and impact energy for working with softer materials. The electronic soft start feature ensures precise drilling. The Metabo S-automatic safety clutch provides mechanical decoupling of the drive when the drill is jammed, ensuring safe operation. Restart protection prevents unintentional start-up after a power interruption, and overload protection safeguards the motor from overheating. Low-dust chiselling and drilling is facilitated by the ESA max external dust extraction system (accessory).
