1985 Polo Green XL at Tommy Hilfiger

We just received the polo shirt from Tommy Hilfiger and here’s our review. We especially like the color and overall look. Good first impression! My wife and I are impressed with how well it fits and will purchase more shirts like this in the future! The only problem is that the box it came in was smashed and crushed so we suggest whoever sent this learn to pack it more carefully (see picture). We recommend you try this out for yourself. Classic Tommy Hilfiger

This Tommy Hilfiger polo shirt may be named a "1985 Classic Polo" yet this polo fits better than any 1985 polo I have ever owned. This classic polo is timeless and so is the comfortable and stylish fit. This polo is well made and will last for many years to come, due to its high quality material and manufacture. This polo can be worn on the golf course, as well as to any casual engagement or restaurant, due to its versatility. This 1985 Classic Polo is well worth the cost and it will find years of use for all occasions.

Great polo with comfortable fabric

This is an excellent shirt that offers both style and functionality for any occasion. This polo is made of lightweight, stretchy, soft material. It’s a cool and comfortable material to wear. Great quality and the stunning black color is absolutely looks great.I love the cool cotton material these polo are made of. They seem to have some stretch which make it extremely comfortable.I have worn this polo for several outings and have been impressed with its performance and comfort. The sleeves surprised me a little because the bottom part of the sleeve is short, compared to what I'm used to. I think that is part of the 1985 style Tommy was going for. The polo fit is sized very nicely for me

Not your “classic fit” from years past

My husband has worn these classic sit polos for years, I bet these run a little bit more snug than the original classic fit. I noticed that it had “1985” in the title of the shirt but I thought they were the same shirt. We ended up taking them back to a Macy’s store, talking to a salesperson about the change, but could not find a “classic fit” style that did not have the 1985 on the label. I finally had to get on the Tommy site and ordering them, and I will be honest, they did not have every many colors to choose from. I hope they are not fading the “classic fit” out forever.

Quality Polo

This is a quality polo shirt. It is made of a tight cotton weave with 4% elastane to allow it to stretch for a more comfortable fit. It is cut wide in the shoulders for a broad shouldered person. The material feels nice against the skin. It a heavier material so beware if you are a person who runs warm. The only real negative I have is that the sleeves have a fitted ribbing on them. This gives the shirt a nice look but for someone with large biceps it is too constricting.

Stylish, Almost Tailored Fit

This classic polo is a form fitting design that made me feel very confident to wear. It does not just drape down, but instead seems to form fit in the all the right places and actually made my chest and arms look more toned than they actually are LOL The fabric is 96% organic cotton and 4% elastane and feels clean and comfortable against the skin, while also remaining breathable. It is also thick and durable material which is a further testament to the high quality of this brand. I love the classic solid color design with minimalistic labeling which adds to the stylish look and wear of this garment. I went to wash before wear; surprisingly the item tag for this was sewn into the bottom of the shirt in a very long/multiple page label.

True men wear pink polos!

I love my new Tommy Hilfiger classic polo. It is truly a classic and looks timeless. It is also fashionable year-round - mine is pink which is perfect for the spring-summer season. It is of wonderful quality, made with a soft, breathable pique that washes wonderfully. It is a perfectly average fit, right where you'd want the size to be (mine is L). I love the design, which harkens back to Tommy's first golden era, the mid-80s, which was obviously a wonderful time in preppy clothing. Highly recommended for your wardrobe!+

Well made - great color - excellent comfort

This classic polo is a soft pink which goes great in the hot Florida sunshine. The fit is straight not narrow so helps hide a small belly bulge without a sloppy look. Very thin people may want to go with a tapered style but for the majority of people, this is the option. Length is average - not short but not overly long. Build is very good - solid stitching and good attention to detail. Last but not least, the fabric is thick enough to provide ample coverage even without an undershirt but still breathable and comfort even in hot weather.
