I have purchased many RTA [Ready to Assemble] items in the past, and have so far up to this point, with varying degrees of difficulty, been able to assemble all of them. (Although I must say that over time there appears to be a general trend in the assembly process becoming less clear from the instructions). After working on assembling this item over the past week or so however, I have as yet still not been able to finish putting it together. It has the worst and most confusing instructions (just diagrams - no written instruction at all) that I have ever encountered. I would not recommend it to anyone unless they are an expert handyman.

$99 is ok and I will use it however: Corners were lifting on laminate, poorly labelled for diy (numbers on pieces missing and mismatched) but if your handy it shouldnt be a problem. Runners arent really smooth but the worst part is the SMELL Packaging smells like off fish. After leaving it outside for 3 days its marginally better. Didnt bargain for that. Hoping baking soda in the drawers will absorb the stench.

Right size (fits under my large desk). Good price. I bought 2 and will buy one more soon for my other desk (I have a quite small bedroom/home studio and storage space is at a premium. Only problem was that the instructions had errors and it took a bit of brainwork to figure it out. (not my brain). My brother has a computer science degree and was able to build it but because of the errors it took a bit of time. The 2nd one was much quicker.
The instructions are very unclear. Parts not labeled and clear. Instructions say to use a part 13 for example but in the picture and pieces, neither were labelled correctly. Neat and tidy unit though
My wife bought these file cabinets and when I put them together I was surprised to find that the draws wouldn’t close as they were not lined up properly. After my second one didn’t line up I knew something wasn’t right. I ended up re drilling the holes for the runners and now they line up great. However if someone isn’t handy or have access to power tools they wouldn’t be able to do this. They now work as intended so I give them 2 stars. After reading all these comments I’m surprised bunnings hasn’t done a recall on this product and fixed the issue.
Poor quality , instructions were misleading with incorrect numbering on components. Chip board split on top draw when tightening lock nut so had to glue and tape to reinforce for assembly. The top draw was 5mm out so wouldn’t close properly so had to redrill runner holes to make it fit. Ball bearings came out of one of runners. Very flimsy draws so will only probably hold a few sheets of paper per draw. Absolute crap for $55 do not waste your money.
I did not want to give this product any stars. This will be the last time I purchase anything from Marketplace. The two draw filing cabinet has diagrams included to show me how to put it together. Easier said than done.Incorrect number on diagram of one of the items.Pre drilled holes are in wrong spots causing the draws to not shut properly.Top draw runners need soap to run smoothly or it gets stuck and needs two people to pull it out.Bottom draw is useless and only opens half wayThis cabinet will go to the rubbish dump and I’m out of $89.95. What a rip off, very dissatisfied.
Terrible product. The channel for the front draw was put at the top and should have been at the bottom for both fronts of drawers. We spent an hour putting it together only to find this out. As a result, this cabinet is unusable. Don't buy it!
We purchased 2x cabinets. One had the drawers misaligned so couldn't be put together and had to get a refund. The other cabinet has a bottom drawer so small that it doesn't fit any hanging files and therefore cant be used as a filing cabinet! It looks good but is utterly useless!
