The foam is of good quality, nice that I can get it in 5mm thickness. Downside is the sheets are small compared to what you can get at TNT Cosplay, it also appears to be a lower density.Would rate it 4 stars for convenience if they carried it in-store; my local Joanns says that it has 14 sheets of 5mm in stock, but only has 2mm. I guess since EVA foam is a new concept to the staff they don't know what the varying thicknesses look like while taking inventory.

IT is thinner in person then the pictures show which is something someone said also in the reviews. It's smooth on both sides which is nice since you don't have to take the time sanding it down like other foams. I also liked that it seem to cut really nice and not rip on me. I'm currently using it to make turtle shells for a squirtle squad cosplay.

Great foam, easy to work with. I've been cosplaying for 10+ years, and it's great to have access to eva foam of this quality in stores. I've purchased several times. Sometimes the corners of the foam come in a little "smushed", but this often is solved by taking a heat gun to the affected area--however occasionally this has limited the working area, so inspect if buying in person. Make sure to use respirator mask when heating or sanding, as this can give off toxic fumes. Easy to work with, cuts clean, heats well with heat gun, and glues well with contact cement. Great for cosplay!
I used this for leveling under a 6 gallon aquarium. It’s thicker than what the aquarium company provides, and I am confident my tank will not suffer from stress fractures.
I’ve been using this 5mm Eva foam for a cosplay armor build and I’ve been pretty impressed with it so far. It cuts well even with scissors (I might be destroying my scissors). It will respond to a heat gun if you need to shape it.It does seem to bleed its ink a lot - every time I work with this foam my fingertips are covered in black.It’s an okay price if you can get it on sale. They seem to run sales a lot on this foam.
This EVA foam was perfect for my project. It cut beautifully and running three layers through my sewing machine was a breeze. I will definitely purchase this again.
So first off, you have an online only special doorbuster sale (50% off) for an in store only pickup item. The product itself is the thick EVA foam we all know and love. The reason for the 1 star is in the store the box and all of its contents smelled of mothballs to the point I gagged a bit trying to find one that didn’t wreak. Went to another section of the store where some were separated and squirreled away. These had no smell. I was not convinced that the employees weren’t aware of this when I mentioned it. Poor form and smelly product.
Great quality, perfect for cosplaying. Foam works great with heat gun! Also got the modeling foam! Game changer!!
Perfect for anything that needs to be rigid enough but flexible still. E6000 glue sticks perfectly to it without any scoring needed and it is harder to remove the glue once stuck together!
