So glad I purchased this! I had read reviews of poor fitting tops and this is definitely not the case. It’s a nice tight fit with the gasket. The 20oz is a perfect size for two drinks with ice.The screw on lid works well and the built in screen eliminate loose parts I’ve seen in other shakers. The insulation keeps the ice from melting. Another quality product from Yeti!

Great product !! Made extremely well! I had a previous shaker that would leak occasionally and was very thin. I got this gift for Christmas and is is actually larger which is great you can make multiple drinks in one and the lid has a great seal to make it water tight and the lid doesn’t just sit on top it actually slides on so it doesn’t fall off when you shake it . 10/10 would recommend

This concept is a game changer. The fact you can place it on several different sized cups is brilliant. I want to buy at least one more. It's so easy and I used it at a birthday party in which we served margaritas and shook each persons cup for their own individual drink.I've had other shakers before I won't use at it is too cumbersome to dirty yet another cup, poor from one cup in to another. This becomes a remarkable all in one solution.

Got exactly what I was expecting. A durable, yeti quality shaker top perfect for cocktails. Only a couple area to mention. The metal on metal cap can make a squeaky sound when you close it. If your ears are sensitive to that like my wife’s, be careful. Second, it creates an airtight seal which is good, however you need to have the twist cap off before your tumbler and then close the cap. If you don’t it causes an air pocket inside that forces the lid to pop up and leak.
I love almost everything about this. I bought just the top, as the bottom is just a regular 20 oz. tumbler. The screw on/off cap is great because it doesn’t get suctioned on after shaking as tends to happen with other shakers. The fact it’s fully vacuum insulated is an absolute game changer. No more freezing cold hands! And it’s even quieter, handy for those late night cocktails after the kids go to bed. One very small thing Yeti should improve is the strainer hole pattern. Check out my photo, Yeti on the right and a high quality German brand on the left. A really good strainer should have those thin slits around the edges. These allow for better airflow into the shaker while it’s being poured which makes it faster, and they help release those precious ice crystals ... MoreI love almost everything about this. An insulated shaker is most ideal thing ever. Shaking a cocktail with ice quickly chills and slightly dilutes, making for way better drinks, but with a normal shaker it also freezes your hand and then condensates all over your bar space. This YETI shaker looks nicer, feels nicer and keeps all the icy cold in. There's a nice rubber gasket to seal the top on and the strainer cap is threaded on, so it's much better than the standard shaker that just uses aluminum and compression fits. There's enough capacity to make a double and take it with you to share with someone, or pour half now and pour half later.
They stay on super tight and keep the end of your shaken drinks cold without getting watered down. Super nice to put on the small low ball cups as well as the bigger ramblers depending on how many drinks you want to make. Also, convenient when multiple people are making drinks at the bar - you can just swap the cap and keep the party rolling! Such a good investment.
TL;DR — The YETI lid is a nobrainer if you have any 20oz Ramblers (or 10oz Lowballs) lying around. It’s well-made, as you would expect, and it is a definite improvement over freezing my hands for 30-45 seconds with my professional-grade cobbler shaker.I’m not sure I would be so enthusiastic with my review if I had to spend $60 for the lid and another Rambler (I have so many). The instructions say to push the lid down before screwing on the cap to minimize the pressure build up. It is more satisfying to assemble my old shaker by slapping the lid+cap like a bartender, but removal of a cobbler shaker lid can be a challenge. Taking off the YETI shaker lid is the same as removing a Rambler lid, which requires a little more strength than you’d think sometimes.The YETI shaker cap is 1oz (I double checked), which is cool. Maybe my old shaker lid is as well, but I never measured it. There are no 1/4 or 1/2oz markings. If there is anything I ding the YETI on, it’s the black rubber gasket inside the cap. I get that it’s there to prevent leakage, but is one more thing to remove, wash and not lose.I’m still thinking through storage: A 20oz Rambler with shaker lid is significantly taller than my 17oz cobbler. I typically store the 17oz with the lid upside down on a short kitchen cabinet shelf. The YETI won’t fit. However, I could just put the shaker lid on the shelf and keep the tumbler with my other YETIs on the counter.I do like that the lid will fit on my 10oz Lowball, although I can’t immediately think of any cocktail that I regularly shake being small enough to fit.Now I just need to find more drinks that need to be shaken and not stirred.
Everyone has at least one 20 ounce Yeti laying around, most probably have half a dozen. Toss this on the shake drinks. You can pour into other vessels from it or pop it off and drink right from the bottom half. Dishwasher safe. No leaks. Screw top lid. Doesn’t get “stuck” like a traditional shaker and require a firm palm slap to open. So that’s a plus. Will buy more.
Difficult to find item but Academy had it available. A few other sources had this item but Academy's shipping was the best deal online at the time. Thanks, Academy! As for the item, it will make a great addition to my RV kitchen tools. It is much easier to store than a full size all in one shaker. I really like that the small lid actually screws down as opposed to fitting on with friction. Fits the 20 oz. Yeti Rambler cups I use all the time. Nice Yeti item.
