Great pair of shoes, so far pretty comfortable right out of the box. Absolutely love the way they look. Regarding sizing, I wear size 42.5 with my Specialized S-Works 7s and size 43.5 with my SIDI, but after a little trial and error, needed a size 43 in these shoes. The Solestar soles work for me, find them very comfortable. Loved them so much, purchased the white pair after riding in the black/red.

Very comfortable to wear shoes, with a very stiff sole. Great workmanship and very high quality.

I only used the shoes 5 times and so far are the best cycling shoes that I ever had. Stiff and very comfortable! Also extremely nice!

I ordered these in December and followed the Suplest sizing guide which put me at a 44.5 (I'm usually 45 in most shoes, 44.5 in Fiziks). They were way too tight, I could barely even get my longer foot into the shoe. I returned them because I thought 45s likely would still be too small, and they don't make this model in 45.5 which would probably be the right size for me. Really nice shoes though, I wish they had worked out.
Not very good size chary is very inaccurate shoes are smaller than tne size would indicate having to use thinner insoles to eliminate hot spots overall quite disappointed
These shoes are light, fit well and look great. This is the second pair of Suplest shoes i now own, to match my other bike, love the back of the shoe with the tacky grippy part which hugs your achilles and stops shoe movement. You know the saying, you get what you pay for.
Bought these to have a second pair of shoes that are white. The quality is amazing and was noticed by my bike fitter as well. My only complaint is that I wish I had known that the inside part of the shoe facing the frame has more black than I would have liked, but this is my fault for lack of due diligence. The toe box is a little wider than my Fizik’s infinito R1’s for reference so could have benefited going down half a size. 0 complaints with the sole star insoles so far. My bike fitter was also amazed at the range of cleat adjustability for optimal placement.
I purchased these shoes as I wanted something that was a more performance orientated shoe than my Giro E70 Knit. So following the instructions carefully (you must allow the shoe to mould to you foot over the first few rides so don't over-tighten them). So I have been using these indoors whilst dialling in my position and with such a performance shoe the cleat position is very important. I also purchased a cleat fitting tool to match them up with my other shoes that had been adjusted and tuned when I did my bike fit so I had a good starting point. Now my left foot felt fantastic in the shoe but I was getting pain (hotspots) in the right shoe. I though it was because my feet were getting using to the shoe but that wasn't the issue. Now my left foot felt fantastic in the shoe but I was getting pain (hotspots) in the right shoe. I though it was because my feet were getting using to the shoe but that wasn't the issue. I was beginning to get frustrated as these are such a financial outlay and I thought I was going to have to stick them on e-bay. But as a last ditch attempt to try and get rid of the pain in the right foot, I decided to try my Bontrager (red) index 1 insole. Well that was a revelation! The pain instantly went and the shoes felt incredible. So if you are considering this shoe highly recommend it, but the insoles won't work for everyone. So be prepared to swap out your insoles. As my bike fitter recommended the Bontrager ones when I was having my bike-fit hence why I decided to swap mine out for the Solestar ones. This why I have not given them 5 stars as the insoles won't work for everyone. One other point to make is that these carbon soles are stiff, so be prepared to have slightly sore feet till your feel get used to the stiffness but after riding with them several times you'll be fine. I haven't ridden them outdoors and 2 hours is the maximum time I have worn them on the turbo trainer but I will start to ride them for longer when I can get outside. BTW I wear EU 45 in Giro and Bontrager shoes and these fit the same size. (My normal shoe size is EU44)
