Amazing Dishwasher Detergent

I was excited to get my Finish Power Dishwasher Tabs to use in my dishwasher to clean my dishes! Finish makes some of the most trusted and high quality dishwasher products around. The Finish Power has the powerball in it and you don’t have to pre-rinse your dishes before placing them in the dishwasher. These dishwasher tabs do a fantastic job of deep cleaning and getting greasy grit off of your dishes, pots, pans, and utensils! Does not clean even lightly soild dishes

I have used this numerous times in the past and it always cleaned well. I have not had a dishwasher for a couple years but have one now and bought this product again. Three times using it and the dishes still have stuck on dirt. Some of the dishes didn't get clean, the others that looked clean when loaded now have food debris stuck to them. Simple items like a smear of mustard or catsup don't even come off. I have had to run the washer a 2nd time to get them clean. I have found the store brand detergents clean better than this. Not sure what happened to finish classic but whatever it is, it isn't good.

Everything tastes like soap now.

I’m so frustrated and disappointed. Bought these instead of the usual Quantam packs, now all of the dishes reek of their “fragrance”. I’ve run the dishwasher a second time with no soap in the hopes that the added rinse would remove, or at least dissipate the scent. No such luck. When I open my dishwasher it seriously smells like someone put a gas station air freshener in there, and the worst part is that allllll of the dishes now cause food/drink to taste like that scent. I’m concerned that this is permanent and I’m now going to have to throw out all the dishes from that load. If it tastes like that, it can’t be safe for you. Only brand I use

I have had a dishwasher for 27 years, I had the same dishwasher for 21 years I think my dishwasher worked so long an so well thanks to Finish Classic! Not only does it get your dishes clean with less " pre cleaning " but also helps keep your dishwasher running in tiptop shape, less buildup of food and grime because Finish washes it Away. I never have to buy dishwasher cleaner. I do run a cup of vinegar in mine once a month. The only reason I got a new dishwasher was my old one was outdated but still worked. I tell everyone I use nothing but Finish to keep my dishes and dishwasher sparkling clean. My only complaint is my clear Glass will get a glossy buildup over time from I think the sanitizer in the tablets. Scent is too much!

I agree with all those who are disappointed that this product has such a strong scent. I want my dishes to be fresh and clean and not smell like anything—not even flowery perfume. It cleans as well as the classic product, but I can’t see any great improvement that warrants the overpowering perfume. The last time I shopped for dish detergent, my local BJs only had these and not the classics (which I have used for many years). If they don’t stock the classics in the future, I’ll have to hunt elsewhere. Not happy with the makers of Finish, and not happy with BJs.

Scent overpowering

I rarely write reviews but felt strongly on this one. We have used the Finish classic for many years. I accidentally bought the Finish power and noticed it has a very strong scent.My kids have been telling me the last few weeks that our water tasted funny.I finally figured out that it is the plastic cups from the dishwasher. You can taste it on plastics. I bought a big pack at BJ’s. I have thrown out and able to order the Finish classic on Amazon. If this product discontinues, we will look elsewhere and will not purchase anymore Finish products.

Terrible- ruined all our tupperware

We liked Finish Classic tablets. So when BJs by us stopped carrying them, and started carrying the pouches of Finish Power, I thought there would be no issue. No one in my house can eat, drink, or cook in anything that has been washed with the Power pouches even once. We have tried to wash everything by hand to save whatever we could. It worked for everything except the plastic and Tupperware. We have to completely replace all of our storage and children’s dishes. DO NOT USE THESE!

They fit better...

Honestly, the Finish Classic does a great job. However, I don't know that it's any better than others I have tried. The clean is clean and there aren't too many spots on the dishes when done. I do like them better than others because they seem to fit better in my dishwasher compartment. They're not like a 'pod'. They're more tightly sealed and allow the detergent compartment to close better in my machine. I would recommend them with confidence.

Works effectively

Finish power dishwashing tablets works very well for our dish washer. I like the packaging of these tabs, its convenient to use. Before starting the dishwasher, I just put 1 tab in it, without any pre-rinsing liquid. 1 tab is enough to clean all the dishes, even the pots in which I make curry, comes out clean after drying. I like how one tab does the work of pre-rinse liquid as well as of dish detergent. I use it everyday and really impressed with its effective cleaning.
