Both packages smelt literally like smoke and a strong factory-manufacture-industrial type smell. They were also part covered in oil - so much so that the box itself was oily in patches and I had to wipe the individual weights down myself. It may have been part of the process or for some protective purposes but it’s not how it should be delivered. They look and feel quite well made/built and manufactured, but they felt gross which unfortunately just lessened their overall quality.
