This is an excellent pepper mill. I think it is the best pepper mill I have ever owned. I am so impressed with the quality that I am considering buying the matching salt mill.It is a good size, looks and feels a quality item and most importantly it works brilliantly! The mill is easily altered in order to grind coarsely or finely according to taste.An added bonus is that it came with a good supply of peppercorns so we were able to use it as soon as it was out of the packaging.The only disappointment is that it is manufactured in China despite being designed in England by a distinguished and well established company.

The thing I like most about this pepper mill is the size and shape. It looks classy and compliments my table setting. The grinding mechanism was a little fine at first then I discovered there was an adjustment at the top of the mill which gives a choice of fine or heavier pepper. I also like the fact that there is no leakage of pepper when the mill is used.The mill is not too big and made of acrylic allowing you to see when the mill requires to be replenished with peppercorn. It is easy to operate and dispenses the right amount of pepper when required. I would recommend this pepper mill to family and friends and I am certain they would be as happy as I have been using this Cole &Mason Mill.

This is a decent quality mill. It feels well made and has a weight in hand that doesn't feel cheap. The grinding mechanism isn't loose and grinds the pepper well. The size of the milled pepper can be changed using the knob on top of the mill, with the mill capable of producing anything from quite a fine powder to a very course one.The mill comes with some brief instructions and is filled with peppercorns.Cole and Mason do emphasise their 'Britishness' as a brand so it is worth mentioning that this is made in China, in case buying locally is a consideration.
I was immediately impressed with the size and weight of this product, my old one feeling lightweight and slightly flimsy in comparison.It has a glossy finish, and is very tactile, feeling quite solid and luxurious, and something that I would be happy leaving out on the counter while cooking with guests over. We have spotlights in the kitchen, and it really sparkled under them.It seems to have one grind setting, as twisting the top only loosened it overall. It also has an occasional slight squeak, which can be heard at the end of the video, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience.It was very easy to use, and gave a good amount consistently - both my husband and daughter commented on this.

The mill looks sleek and classy and I think it would suit any modern home. It's heavier than our other salt and pepper mills and feels like it is built to last. The grind action produces finely ground pepper.The mill is supplied about half full with pepper corns, so I haven't needed to refill it yet. The Cole & Mason London Acrylic Pepper Mill feels solid enough and well made. It has a modern clear finish and a sleek and clean. It appears to be well made but since i have only had the occasion use this for a few weeks it is difficult to comment on how robust this actually is. In the past i have found many cheap low quality salt and pepper mills whist looking relatively fine are just not up to the job and cannot sustain regular use. Often the grinding mechanism quickly becomes to loose resulting an unsatisfactory outcome of pepper corns simply not being discharged in acceptable manner. In summary - so far, so good
