Expensive, Good compression gradient, requires a bit of adjusting to align the markings on the tights over the correct muscles. The pockets hold an iPhone X in landscape position really well which is great on runs. Performance in terms of muscle fatigueness , recovery time and reduced lactic acid build up is not different to its once A400 competitor. Aesthetics and fit, has a rather high waist (most women love) and a lower crotch that perhaps hide that region well but reduces compression around the upper inner thighs. Its by no means overpriced given the invested technology, but if it retains its properties over the next year will determine whether or not i buy it again.

I am super happy with this pair of compression pants. The MCS system works well yet it is the overall compression of the garment that I am impressed with. The Light Speed Compression Tights significantly reduces my lower extremity muscle fatigue and reduces cramping in my gastrocnemius bilaterally. They also help me stay warm on the cold mornings and I do not suffer from any chaffing. The zipper pocket is just big enough to hold my ID and medical insurance card. I highly recommend these for anyone who runs.I am 5'9" and weight approximately 165 with more leg muscle mass than upper body muscle mass. I wear a medium and they are tight and take a little work to get on yet this is how they are designed. I'm 5'5" and around 70kg, and the Small size was recommended to me. Although the length for me has a bit of surplus, give or take a cm or two. I'll never be able to make it fit flush on the ankles so it will overlap slightly but this garmentis meant to fit a general range of bodies so I'll just out it out there. Regardless, I'm very happy with the fit as it's secure from top to bottom, keeps the muscles intact from impact and the material fits like a second skin. The pockets are well fitted and unobtrusive to your movement if you had a couple keys in the pockets and a small phone (up to 5" screen) in the back. Even if you decided to wear these for other activities than running.

I bought the new 2XU Light Speed Compression skins because my 2XU Elites were 17 years old! I am 74 years old and don't run any more .... but I walk about 7 kilometers a day despite arthritis and keep the pressure on myself (cadence 119 and 10min per kilometer). The new muscle targeting design helps both with walking and recovery. Winter is on the way so I'll really appreciate the Light Speed skins under my ski pants .... and I'll wear my old skins as pyjamas at night, as always, and wake up with legs ready to take on the ski runs again. Just love this gear .... it's keeping me young!!
I have the men's medium. They are overall great. The bottom hem or collar is a bit too tight for the overall fit, much tighter that the overall compression for the lower leg, however it is workable. I also have a pair of the mcs tights. I like the light speed much better.Thanks
These offer maximum comfort, responsiveness and really aid in recovery. I recently injured my calf, and as someone who plays football twice a week and works out at least 4x a week on top, I’ve found that these tights have significantly improved my recovery time both post-injury and post-workout, and aided in overall endurance. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a product to improve recovery and performance.
These Light Speed Compression tights are snug yet reflexive while running. I was able to put in the work on the track both for speed and distance with a lot less post run pain and stiffness. I felt the presence of the compression without it being restrictive to my activities. I love these and look forward to getting a couple more complimentary colors. And a bonus is they look really good!
This is my 5th pair of tights from 2XU.What happened to the others?Nothing, I still wear them even from 20 years ago!!Nowadays I work out more than ever and these tights come out of the wash like new- every time!!Worth every Penny and the most attractive looking and feeling tights ever. Purchasing 2XU for many years now I am simply amazed how the continual improvement of these designer MCS Compression tights continue to perform better and better with incredible results. Bought these to run in the Greenbrier Ultra in Maryland. Course was rough and beat my legs up. I'm a heavier runner, so that puts a lot of punishment on these quads! These legging saved me, I ran 18 hours straight my feet gave out before my legs thanks to 2XU. Don't worry about the price, worth every dollar.
