I had a calf muscle compartment syndrome training for a triathlon in 2017. Did not need surgery but caused a chronic swelling problem. I chronically use socks everyday and the vector 2XU is probably about 20 PSI of compression. Slowly swelling has resolved. I have never had evidence of venous disease but may have a degree of Marie Turner syndrome from prostate cancer now som 20 years ago, cheers to a successful medical solution. I skied 5 days in Lake Tahoe last week with NO symptoms. These socks can wear out but I have over 20 pairs at home and Florida home so I would say they seam to last a long time. Please do not discontinue this product and there must be others with heart conditions or venous disease where this is needed.

Using for basketball. Not that thick as i would like on foot area although these are meant to be the thick ones, plus theyre so smooth they can slode around a bit in the shoe if not done tight. Otherwise nice and comfortable and help prevent cramping and pain in foot and calves.

These are fantastic and work so well. My husband had an operation last September and needed to control the swelling in his calf and ankle. These have been amazing. It took us a few goes to master putting them on and taking them off but we got there.

Purchased these for my husband whose lower legs were swelling by the end of the day. He says they are great and his legs are no longer swelling. They are a bit challenging to put on though as are all compression socks I suppose. I initially purchased the wrong size and compression socks can’t be returned. So a warning to others to double check the sizing and go by calf measurement.
I was dealing with some calf pain due to varicose veins late in my long runs and post long runs. I just finished running a marathon recently and found that these socks seemed to help! I had no issues (even though the weather got quite warm), no chafing, no blisters and will continue to wear them for long runs.
Love em. Have survived an MVA 5 years ago. I have issues with blood pooling in my legs and swelling that occurs. These socks are the tightest I could find that stay tight for approximately 5 months, before degrading. While wearing these socks 3-4 days a week, depending on how many pairs I have in rotation.
These socks aren't foremost designed for comfort as the other review complains. These socks are design for blood circulation, lower leg swelling, post surgery recovery. They are technical and assist your body in invisible ways. They are hard to get on, very tight, but always choose your size by shoe size. These aren't casual socks but must be used with intention. And not worn to sleep without doctors approval. I wear them to recover from walking 15000 steps a day in my job, 2 hrs before I sleep at night, in conjunction with myofacial release and massage -- in order to maintain my own lower leg complications.
I've tried 3 of the 2XU models from this Vectr to lighter models and like them all. Although this model feels a little thicker, I like it best. I wear them all day, they are smooth, rovide good compression and feel great. I especially like the larger toe area. Very pleased with this purchase.
I have been wearing compression socks every day of my life for 8 years to address low blood pressure issues. I have tried most brands on the market. The socks are easy to put on, they don’t fall down, they stop blood pooling in my calf muscles(no calf pain)., they look good. The feet cushions are great inside your shoes, most brands are more stocking-like, however these are comfortable and are too stretchy , just right.
Just used these on my first road bike ride and I’m impressed. I have neuropathy in my legs and these give me support but also have a nice comfortable foot that keeps you warm. They stay up well. They are not quite as compressive as my orthopedic compression socks I wear at home but not far off it, and much cheaper. I’m 181cm, 75kg and bought XL.
