3M N95 respirator mask review.

Standard N95 surgical masks, with a tight fit and comfortable enough once you get used to them. Well-constructed with sturdy straps. Far less leakage than with cloth or standard surgical masks. For the most comfortable fit, short of FIT-testing for professional use, bring the lower strap up over the head first, then secure with the upper strap. Try to keep them from riding directly on the earlobes, since this starts to hurt after awhile.My order from Vitality was prompt and arrived sooner than expected. Very professional company.

3M P2/N95

Extremely comfortable to wear. Lightweight but well layered giving a very secure and protective fit. Confident protection. The headbands give better protection than earloop masks, due to a more secure fit. Rubber bands can snap & are not as good as material elastic bands.

A life saver here in a Texas classroom...

I am in a classroom in Texas where state leaders seem to not respect the health of kids and teachers. Covid is here big time! My answer to extremely concerning, non-science based work environment was to seriously upgrade my mask. We must pay for them ourselves and this was affordable as well as super effective. I've been using them since the first day of school, and continue to practice lots of hand washing and social distancing whenever possible. Since I use the mask just 8 hours a day, I store them in labeled paper bags for each day of the school week and reuse them one more time then dispose them.

Expensive but great masks. They appear to be a legitimate 3M/N95 product. Putting them on for the 1st use is a bit more difficult than I have seen with other brands as the head bands are tightly pressed on the flattened upper and lower (nose & chin) flaps. Once you get the hang of it, they are easier to put on. Once on, the masks are a perfect secure fit. The nose is fully covered and does not slide down with movement or talking. The chin has a tab to pull it downward into place against the face. The inside of the mask is smooth and comfortable. Not sure how these could be made any better. Slight material smell goes away quickly. Suggestion: Put the first one on in a safe place (at home?) and experiment with it so you are not challenged by it once needed. Masks have an odd smell

The 3M 1860 N95 masks showed up in good condition. However the shipping box and unfortunately the masks inside have a very odd, unpleasant smell. This is not the typical hospital-grade N95 mask smell. It is much more musky or mildew-like.There was no obvious water damage to the shipping or individual mask boxes, but the smell was extremely strong (could be smelled prior to opening the shipping box).Very disappointed given the cost. Trying to air them out, but unlikely to use.

Perfect for my needs and very comfortable.

I was a bit hesitant about this mask as I wanted one that would fit my grandson who is 10 yrs old, tall but very slender in build. Having a narrow face, I was concerned that a regular child mask would be too small and a small adult mask too large. This mask fit my needs perfectly! It fit his face snugly across the bridge of his nose and around the chin and yet did not touch his nose or lips. I was very pleased with this mask and would highly recommend it for anyone who needs a mask in a "big kid" size as oppose to a very young child. You get 20 in the pack (with the N95 rating) for a very reasonable price. Would buy again.

Review of 3M Health Care 1860 & 1860S N95 Particulate Respirator and Surgical Masks

Good fit on the face, comfortable and lightweight. Does not have a chemical smell. I insert a second filter inside daily and use the main mask about 7 days before tossing it away. Never had a problem with the elastic breaking.

The masks are not sealed in plastic inside the box nor is the box from 3M sealed (it's just a paperboard box with tab closures (no glue)). If the masks were not packed/shipped carefully, you would have masks all over the shipping container. Considering the purpose of the mask, 3M should have the masks at least sealed in a plastic bag. So, my issue is mainly with 3M. The Monks just need to update their website to indicate how the 3M masks are packaged which I understand they are doing. So just be aware of the packaging and make your own decision about whether you want to purchase these masks.

I have friends who had to visit their immediate family member that contracted Covid while in a health facility. Their visit was very necessary! They themselves were medically high risk if they contracted the virus. So it was awesome that these masks were available for them to use to stay protected!
