3M 3M Replacement Respirator Kit

The cost of the replacement filters is a bit more expensive than if you just purchased the disposable N95's but the quality of the mask is more than justifiable for the price difference. the filters are easy to install and can last a long time in between replacements. I use mine for paint and wood working and tend to brush off the dust and continue to use just fine (not recommended procedure just my personal use). I personally change them out when they get wet for my peace of mind but all in all great product to invest in for your health and comfort.

The replacement was very easy to accomplish. It was easier to breath through than then original old style pads. Glad I converted to the updated cartridge kit!

Comfortable Mask with Improved Air Flow

I needed a ventilated mask for the summer, and this mask meets my needs, as the hot air I am breathing out does not collect as much as it does with the CPAP mask type that I was using before. I wore this mask today while walking around inside a very warm metal warehouse, and I could feel the air in the mask actively circulating as I breathed in and out. I am not crazy about the way that the filters stick out on the side, but I can understand the design tradeoffs involved. The silicone mask is very comfortable, although it does stick to your skin with the perspiration from your face. A breathable, absorptive layer should be added to increase comfort, but this is a good start. The headpiece is very cheap, so that should be made stronger in my opinion.

Does what it's supposed to

Seemed to do a good job when I was painting. I didn't have my mask on tight enough the one day and there was a noticeable difference essentially with and without a mask. You probably should wear a respirator when painting with a roller, but you definitely want to use a respirator if you are painting with a sprayer

Excellent. Easy to use

I adore these filters. Easy to breathe while using them and the pre filters help extend the life of the main filter. No paint vapour smell to ruin your day.

Functions as specified

I'm a spray paint artist who paints every day, and I use this setup because it works the best out of all setups I've tried. I store mine in a plastic ziploc bag with the air sucked out of it, when not using. This product works very well. Have painted for 10 hours with this setup, and have not suffered any effects from paint.

Great kit. I had some wood work and spray lacquer work to do recently and noticed my old filters were very dusty. These are great for pros and DIYers alike. You only get one set of lungs, so protect them. They are very important. Do invest in these masks versus using those white masks.

I have COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)small hobby projects involving canned aerosol paint were causing sore throat and nausea.(even with paper mask) When using (Paint Respirator), can't even smell it. Well worth the cost. Even if you don't yet have lung issues. Live long

I wore this mask to work on a crawlspace for...

I wore this mask to work on a crawlspace for about 5 days (6 hrs work days) and it tore up the upper part of my nose where the bone is. It basically caused a large welt on the bone area. I had to wear a bandaid on my nose to keep the welt from bleeding. Is was all i could get my hands on in my area.This mask is only good for a short term job. No more that a one day work. I suggest a full face mask for something longterm. If you plan on wearing this mask for consecutive days, good luck.

Puzzled

Well it did not fit my respirator, I had to jimmy rig it to fit. Even though my respirator said it took P95, and they said on the package it was a replacement for P95, it would not fit. But once I opened it I felt committed to making it work and did.I was going to contact Canadian tire and warn them but have been too busy as of late.But it did not work in my respirator.
