I bought these earplugs specifically for concerts. After seeing a band that was really loud and dealing with ringing for a day and a half, I decided that I need to protect my ears. These earplugs are comfortable and are holding up extremely well and I've used them for several concerts. The blue cord for these earplugs are hollowed out to allow you to hear what others are saying, so make sure you don't cut this cord out.These earplugs offer amazing protection to the point that I've been right up front at the stage. There's no ringing in my ears when I take them out after the concert was over. I'm sure that if these hold up for concerts that they will hold up for other uses like working around equipment that's loud. Very handy for all kinds of tasks with medium noise levels, such as caring for a screaming newborn baby or mowing the lawn. Not enough protection for very loud tasks though.

I bought these to go to a VERY loud heavy metal concert recently. I'm pretty sensitive to loud noises, and these really helped to bring the noise level in the venue down to comfortable levels, and didnt muddy the sound quality too much. One thing to know is that--on me, anyways--you have to put these in your ear canal pretty deep in order for it to seal properly, which was kind of uncomfortable at first. This probably could have been mitigated by offering a larger size, as I have pretty big ears. Overall though, excellent ear plugs, and cant argue with the price.

These ear plugs work great to help kill the sound of various loud tools and machines. I have used them around tile saws, all sorts of wood working tools, my wood chipper, floor sander and my wfie! (Kidding about that last one... I love you baby if you see this!) In all cases, they did a great job to cut that sound down and save my hearing. The remarkable thing is even with these in, you can talk to someone next to you and hear them without having to scream but once the tools come on, the really deaden the sound. I like that they have the cord on them as they are more convenient to hang around my neck when I'm not needing them at a particular moment but am still working in an environment where I will be using them. I bought these because I have been using the little foam ones, which I either lose or which pick up dirt so easily I can't bear to put them in my ears. The foam ones also take too much time to expand to full usefulness.With this 3 pack, I keep my current pair in their case in my belt. The plastic does not attract dire and is easy to clean. As these are not foam, they protect my hearing immediately. The cord is a stretchy plastic, which I prefer to other cords because it's unlikely to harm me if it gets caught on something. I like the cord because I can hang the plugs around my neck, rather than putting them down and losing them or getting them dirty. I have used these under earmuff style hearing protection with no problems. These are very good for the price.
I have used these ear plugs for years. They are great for masking noise while sleeping, using power tools for home and yard. I always keep a pair in my purse. I am not a fan of TV in waiting rooms, loud conversations in Restrurants and other places. I am not embarrassed to were them in public and am often asked where to buy them. These are so much better than the foam style because they seal the noise out with the tapered layers. Great for planes, buses and motels/hotels. I even use mine if I have to stay overnight in a hospital. If the noise penetrates through the earplugs it is muted and tolerable. I recommend this brand all the time. You can take the cord out but the cord makes them easier to find. I have a pair around my neck as I write this.Enjoy!
I’m not sure if I got a defective batch or something but i barely hear a difference when the plugs are in my ear. Even the cheap little foam ones we have hanging in the dispenser are 10x better. I never had an issue with any earplugs before so I doubt it’s my ear shape
Grabbed these last minute before a Queens of the Stone Age concert, and am I ever glad I did -- it was LOUD! I don't know what I would have done without them. I can't say whether they were ideal in terms of the best sound or whatever, but they sounded fine to me. Also, they were cheap enough that I bought 3 pairs and gave the extras to people who needed them. Very happy with them.
These "barb" style ear plugs are very easy to apply. They can be made as tight as the traditional compression style plugs, and since they don't require following a special insertion technique they have less room for error, or if nothing else the same room for error as normal compression plugs. I use these routinely at both construction sites and home. The convenient storage container is also great because it helps keep the plugs clean, and can be attached to clothing or hard hats, or placed in a pocket or drawer. Highly recommend at least trying to determine if they work equally as well for you.
These little ear protection plugs are excellent they fit into their very own case, that is easy to transport fits into a pocket, purse, fanny pack and easy to carry. Really cuts out the sound.
