Super effective product! It is so easy to use because it kind of WANTS to lie against the window rather than wanting to come away from the window. It makes it much easier to hang and tape and makes the coverage better.

I use this product all the time, as I own a paint company. But the last 4 rolls I picked up from Home Depot were defective. Couldn’t get more than two feet without the roll slipping off the tape. Made the job incredibly difficult. Changed maskers and tape, didn’t make a difference. I don’t have this problem when I purchase at Sherwin-Williams.

Excellent film and an absolute (and probably sometimes unknown) necessity for masking. It is easy to handle and doesnt flake and ruin your paint job. I made the mistake of using just regular plastic and the paint dried to it and pulled off some paint as I lifted the item off. Re did it correctly uisng this plastic film and no problems.

I was nervous about this stuff because I wasn't using it for its typical application. I was spray painting my headlights and needed to cover the HID housing/bulb area. If this stuff leaked at all my headlights would be ruined. After 3 coats of primer, 3 coats of black spray paint, and 3 clear coats on my headlights (hitting exactly where the housing was as well), literally none of it got on the housing. This stuff is amazing and worked better than I thought it would. Highly highly highly recommend.

This was my first time using this product. The learning curve was not steep but I wouldn't say I'm at the top yet. Make sure you tape down in addition to the sticky part because it very easily catches any breeze, including when you walk past.

This worked well to cover window areas and doorways where I wanted to protect other areas from any paint spray. Very clingy, so it takes some patience to unwind it and you'll need tape to hold it in place at edges. The length is not as long as I would have liked, but sufficient for keeping things contained in the room I was working. I had plenty left over as I was doing only one room that had two large window areas, a large opening to another room and a doorway to another room. Past products I've used came with tape built in to hold, but this still worked fine.

To be honest, I didn't buy this for painting purposes. My Son has triplets, so when they come over for dinner, we spread this masking film out under the 3 high chairs to capture all the food droppings from the boys.After dinner and clean up, we just roll this film up with all of the food that fell and throw it away. Still thick enough to walk on and it keeps that carpets clean!Will buy again, and maybe even for painting!
