I'm an X-ray Technologist working daily around COVID 19 patients and was looking for a replacement to my 3m 7502 respirator and this one is much better in my opinion. The filters are easier to replace. I like the speaking diaphragm it makes it easier for people to listen to you when you speak compared to the 7502 .I also find it much easier to breathe with the respirator compared to the older style .

Very comfortable to wear. I have a heart shaped face and a high nose bridge. With the P100 filter, it is easier to breathe than a surgical mask.People can hear me easily when I talk. I like being able to easily check the seal without having to cover valves or filters with my hands.I have only used this outside so far because of the exhalation valve.

Yeah, they said that it was designed for "easy breathing", and it really is! I've been using this respirator every day since it arrived, as we live directly downwind from the "Creek" fire. The Air Quality Index (AQI), which should really be call the Air Pollution Index, has been over 200 for weeks, at times exceeding 500! I have asthma, and this mask, equipped with the 3M P100 Filters (Magenta), has allowed me to walk our dogs outside, even when the air is really bad.The mask is really comfortable, and is soft and flexible enough to seal perfectly, but unlike some other reviewers, I don't think that the masks run large, as ours seem pretty "true to size" to us. Comfortable and I can speak reasonably well through it, though I scared the crap out of my roommate yelling her name in it lol #sweepstakes
I love the new design and features but the head strap is VERY uncomfortable to wear for the long hours I require. Some kings of cushion material would be ideal to help offset the pressure from the plastic. Such as wrapping the same material from the face seal, neoprene, moleskin, or something along those lines. Especially for people like me who have had neurological surgeries and multiple rounds of head trauma. The bare plastic in this design is greater and more uncomfortable than the original.
As a fairly new product that has been launched I decided to take a risk on this new version of a 3M half mask. It has been great so far, very comfortable and easy to communicate through. Also the clicking in of the filters gives extra reassurance that everything is correctly connected. I also get the impression that air is flowing better than previous models but it's hard to be 100% sure without being able to truly measure that
I absolutely love the button-press fit-test and speaking diaphragm, but the fit over the nose on this is different from my previous 6502 and presses on the bridge of my nose, bruising it.I have tried adjusting the tightness of all of the straps, but I can't seem to get a fit that doesn't hurt without sacrificing proper sealing.I'm disappointed because I thought this was going to be a full upgrade from my old respirator, but I'll have to stick with that for longer wear sessions.
Seems to fit and work fine aside from my beard causing some leakage but that is to be expected. Shipping was prompt.
Bought to see patients as it was advertised that I could talk through the mask. However, the sound is still a bit muffled. That being said, it is a really great mask. I can press the button in the middle and make sure it fits before seeing patients. Other masks by 3m require you to press their filter to block intake to make sure the mask fits. This one takes the guess work out of it.Zoro has the best prices!I am wearing this every day. I wear a bandana over the out put to protect others.CON: cannot find filters readily.
