I use these masks every time I vacuum, sweep, or rake leaves. These are the masks everyone wished they had when there were severe fires. These masks block almost all the particles and are easy to wear. Two thin elastic straps hold it to your face - no need for a giant respirator when you need to block 95% of particles. It blocks out bleach fumes, insecticide fumes, painting fumes and much more. Great for working around the house and out in the yard, and it's cheap enough that if something happens to it, such as you drop it in the mud or get paint on it, just throw it away and get another one out of the 2-pack. I do notice, however, that people "borrow" them when you're not looking and it's a good idea to have them squirreled away here and there so you have one when ... MoreI use these masks every time I vacuum, sweep, or rake leaves. I bought them for protection from the dust when mowing the lawn on my Lowe's riding lawnmower, but I almost passed out due to asphyxiation. The nose wire pinched off my nostrils forcing me to breath through my mouth, which made me sound like Bugs Bunny, and quickly filled the mask with moisture further limiting the airflow and building up excessive carbon dioxide within the mask. Luckily, my riding lawnmower has a safety cutoff system which prevented me from being run over when I fainted and fell off the mower. Upon my recovery and after poking several holes in the mask to allow for more air circulation, all went well. But, alas, there's still that darn dust problem thing.

Disclaimer: "Don't use in 'harmful environments'??? Why else would you need to wear a mask???? I think anyone would agree that the only reason to purchase a mask like this would be for protection against breathing in harmful air in a "harmful environment."However, the disclaimer (bottom) says "Don't use this mask in a 'Harmful environment'" or you could die! Why would you want to purchase something when the manufacturer of it says that it is not fit for the purpose for which it is being sold?

These are good for sanding or when you are doing anything dusty, but do not go for these if you are working with chemicals (or strong smelling paints, stains, etc). Not that it's meant for that anyway. Not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it's fine.
These masks work well. They hold tight to the face and keep most particles out. There is a slight gap at times near the nose. I'll repurchase these.
I've been rotating the same 4 or 5 N95 masks for MONTHS when I used to use maybe two per WEEK! When are companies like 3M going to start producing enough masks so they can be prioritized for workers on the front lines of building and remodeling your houses and offices and not just those on the front lines fighting Covid-19 wherever that is happening. Please watch for mesothelioma and other respiratory illness to spike once this whole Covid-19 thing is over OR start making enough masks to go around PLEASE.
I used one of these masks to help dispose of a deceased armadillo. They didn't do much to stop the smell overall, but I definitely didn't taste it as my first attempt to deal with the issue. I sprayed the mask with a fragrance to help cut the smell, and I think it worked. I definitely know the masked helped overall!
Has an odor after taking out of package. Had to air out several days. I use it when walking outside to keep from breathing particles. Does not fog glasses. This mask is not to be used for Covid since the valve will allow your exhaled air to infect people need you. It is banded from use in medical facilities, airports, and most businesses.
I liked the fit of this mask over my face. The elastics are sturdy and the nose clip adjusts well. The only issue I had was that it was a bit hot to breathe through. But that may just be an N95 thing
Great Covid protection!N95 masks are challenging for me to wear. I love that this mask does not fog up my glasses! Two straps, rather than the ear loops, provide a better fit, more protection. The valve makes it easier to breathe. And yet for me, breathing while wearing it, is certainly not a walk in the park. Would breathing exercises help?
