I love these, but the sizing seemed a little off. I originally purchased an XL but it just seemed too tight in the thighs and seat and the fabric of the shorts is not stretchy like the tops are. I then got a 2xl which was great in the thighs and seat, but it was too big around my waist. Luckily it has a drawstring. I would prefer not to mess with a drawstring, but there is not much option. The shorts look great and are flattering on me and I do love them.

This was a bit of an experiment for me because I was unsure how board shorts would look and feel, I thought they might not suit me because I have more of a full waist and narrow hips, and I also thought they might be kind of stiff and thick fabric - but no! The fabric is sleek and thin and I love how they look! I wear these with the one sholder hot pink top and it actually looks like a walking-around outfit to get to the beach. Then I can either swim with the board shorts on, or else remove them and swim with tight fitting boyshorts underneath. Very pleased and thinking of getting more of the board shorts.

These shorts are so great. I wear them to the pool with my kids. They are comfortable and fit well. I really cannot adequately put into words how thrilled I am with them. Before this summer, I wore the same pair of Girls4Sport swim shorts for 10 years or so, and they were fine, but these board shorts are perfect. They have great coverage and are very comfortable. I also don't have to worry one little bit about the upkeep of my bikini area (if you know what I'm saying), and that's super. I've taken my kids to the pool four times so far this year, and I've worn these each time. They are so good. (I'm not hyping them up. This is just seriously how psyched I am about them.)

I really like the 7 inch board shorts but they just didn't fit me. The 16 was a little too tight and the 18 W was way too big. I liked the fabric and that there was not an attached bikini. I prefer to wear them over my own bathing suit bottom instead of having it attached. The colors are perfect and the lighter blue I bought was not see through (although clearly one would wear a bathing suit bottom under it--the legs are wide--a little wider than I wanted but after going on my trip with another brand of board shorts I have rethought that and think the wider leg is probably better if you are in the water climbing in and out of boats and kayaks as I was. Didn't fit well. When I asked about an exchange to a larger size in the mid-thigh board short style, I was told they're not in stock. I told them I'd be willing to wait the 4--6 weeks until they are in stock. Laurie in Customer Success said, "I would keep an eye on your request so you do not have to check for the item daily. We will notify you via email once the item is already back in stock. Just to confirm, the item you are looking for is black mid-thigh board short in Large, is that right?" So, I'm patiently waiting to hear that they will make good on their promise. After that happens, I'll trade my 2-star rating for a 5-star.I also wish that it were made with a thin lining so that you didn't have to recommend wearing a bikini bottom underneath it.
