These weights are a great alternative to purchasing individual dumbbell sets and at a fraction of the cost! I've been enjoying using the weights though at the highest weight (90 lbs) they are a bit bulkier than I'd like but still excellent. The customer service team were very helpful with rectifying an issue I had as well.Thank you.

I had ordered a pair of these from another company, but I’d been waiting months due to back orders and Covid. I contacted a rep at Montreal Weights who assured me they had these dumbbells in stock and were ready to ship. I received my order two days after placing it - much earlier than the 5 business days they had quoted!The dumbbells are high quality and easy to use - I am very happy with my purchase! My only regret is not purchasing the dumbbell stand to go along with them, as it can be difficult picking them up from the floor once you get above 60 lbs. I would also suggest using gloves with these, as the hand grips can feel quite sharp.

The dumbells are nice and I have good workouts with them. The inside of handle rusted I noticed it after few weeks but through customer service they are sending me a free new handle which I'm waiting for right now. Overall great dumbells and I think the rust is a rare defect. My other handle (I got a set of 2) is perfectly fine.

Definitely worth the price in today's market (I paid under $1000).They're very thick in the middle, and very long, which is annoying as it limits range of motion. I think they would be better if some of the plastic was replaced with metal so as to make them smaller at the same weight. Plates wobble when putting them back into the trays and I've had to leave them sitting precariously a few times while I adjusted, so I fortell something snapping at some point. We'll see.The handle would be much better if it was straight, metal, and had a traditional barbell knurl. But that would have to come at a premium.Overall I would recommend them if you can't afford or don't have space for a full set of traditional dumbbells, but ... MoreThey're good weights, not great, but good. They are sturdy. The gears work great you got a little bit of movement between each plate but nothing to worry about. I've receive them on time the handle are kinda big with a lot of grips it's probably not for someone with small hand but overall i'm really please with them !

Although the plates are of different sizes I don't find it awkward to use any particular weight setting.Where these weights disappointed me, and the reason for not giving a 5 star rating, was the build of the handle/grips. The way that they have been textured to provide the base metal with some grip makes them very sharp, and they leave your hands pretty red/raw when doing any pulling lifts (rows, reverse flyes, curls, etc). I used to power lift and am not a stranger to getting callused hands - but these are definitely way too sharp to use without gloves. The mechanism works really great. However, the metal grips are not comfortable in my opinion, it is quite rough to my hands compared to other dumbbells. Also what bothers me, is that after purchasing the Montreal Weights Adjustable dumbbells, I emailed the support team to make sure it was safe to use those dumbbells in a goblet position. The member of the team answered me that it is NOT safe to use the dumbbells that way and I shouldn't. However, on the website, on the product page (next to the text with the title "Replaces 17 Sets Of Dumbbells"), there is a picture of someone using the dumbbells in a goblet position which is false advertising to me. So for that reason i am dissapointed.
Great system. We already own the up to 52.5 lbs system and needed the bigger weights. Smooth selection for the weight you want. Availability was the only issue and there were limited updates from the provider. That said, I am aware of the current issues due to covid and the availability is limited as a result. I have already purchased the weight stands for both of my systems from Montreal Weights and they arrived on time without issue.I will be buying more equipment from them and recommend them to help build your home gym.
Wow !!! Well just wow !!! These are just incredible. 10lbs to 90 lbs in just a pair of dumbbels is just amazing.Delivery was super fast, i did not expected it to come within 1 weeknor placing order.Grip of dumbbels is pretty good and mechanish is solid as well. Initially i had my doubts that will weights fall off ....but i have been using them for over two weeks now and they are just like any normal dumbbels but with such an extra oridinary feature.Very highly recommended!!!
