My Border Collies love this. It’s a trusted brand that I have used now for sometime. Meals for Mutts is a premium food which includes all the nutrients needed for my active dogs. Not that I’ve tasted it,🤣 but my pups salivate each time they’re ready eat their dins, so it must be good! 😊

Our last two dogs died of cancer, our Vet's dog recently died of cancer and my sisters last two dogs died of cancer and I know the same is happening to many other Australian pets. For this reason I will no longer use dog food made outside of this country because let's face it, we don't know what they are putting in OUR food let alone our pets food. For all we know they could be using plastic for filler! So I did some homework and came across 100% Australian MFM dog biscuits. We are happy with the switch to Meals for Mutts after it was recommend by a vet nurse. Our bull arab is enjoying the food. Her stomach issues have settled and we are starting to notice she is less stinky with gas and smelly coat. One month in and she hasn't lost any condition and appears to be thriving on the food.

Changed recipe , inferior product now

We loved this product, my dog has been eating this for years. But since in came back into production, it's different. Doesn't smell of fish at all anymore (salmon & sardine variety ) , the colour of the kibble is almost black and has a strong chickpea odour. My dogs stools are black , dry and pebble like. It seems to dehydrate him. They should let customers know of such changes. I've bought a 20kg bag which I'll have to throw out. Sad to say good bye but these changes have made this product inferior .

Great quality, nutritionally dense food

My Labrador has allergies. She was on a different brand of premium fish based dog food but her stools were soft and she had intermittent diarrhoea. I slowly transitioned her to MFM Salmon and Sardine Gluten and Grain Free dry food and her coat and digestion have both improved significantly. People comment on her glossy coat. Compared to other brands, she requires less food. She's a 33kg dog in perfect body condition and only eats 2.5cups a day. I know that no single brand is best, but I'm very impressed with Meals For Mutts!

Highly recommend

I recommend this Meals for Mutts Salmon and Sardine my dogs love it. My beagle has a sensitive tummy and use to have terrible smelling air biscuits that would make you leave the room to escape the smell, and it didn't matter what dog food we feed him it didn't help even prescription diet from Royal Canin. Since I started him on Meal for Mutts his terrible smelling air biscuits are no more. He has shinny coat plus he loves the food. Highly recommend.

Meals for Mutts Salmon & Sardine

I have a 33klg Dobermann and switched over to Salmon and sardine due to skin and allergy issues and our vet suggested this food for joint health in senior dog. My dog has consumed 30 KLG so far over 3 months and I feel that she is always very hungry despite being fed X2 a day with the recommended amount plus toppers of meat and left overs. Her skin hasn't really improved flaky and dandruff is seen, the only bonus I can see is she is not as itchy which I cannot link directly to this food as we have been treating her skin topically. So overall its an average rating for an expensive fishy diet.

Outstanding Quality

My 3 adult dogs have been on this particular MFM flavor for quite some time now and they simply thrive!I have moved my female dog onto the MFM Puppy & Whelping recipe during her pregnancies which she's now had 2 of (litter of 11 and then 9) and all the puppies have successfully weaned onto the same without issue. I include it in all my puppy packs too.The only time I've encounter issues with the MFM brand was when I ventured across to the Kangaroo & Lamb for something 'different' and the fur kids hated eating it, vomited and their normal poos were off. Pet Circle dealt with our issue exceptionally and replaced with our usual flavor and we've not looked back since! MFM's customer service department leaves a little to be desired though...

Upset stomach puke

I usually purchase both the Adult Dry Dog Food Adult Salmon And Sardine and Grain Free to work out what would be best for my dog who is a 1.5 year old Frenchie. With the transition him with the Adult Dry Dog Food Adult Salmon And Sardine, he was gassy for a bit but then settled (I mixed it in with his puppy kibble at first). Then when I tried this Grain free version, not only was he gassy but he kept on throwing up on it? every time I fed it to him. I bought him another bag of Adult Dry Dog Food Adult Salmon And Sardine? again fine. That recently ran out and I attempted again to transition to the Grain free version but again, his stomach did not agree with it? how odd! Not sure if I received a bad batch or not. However I won't be buying again.

One of my dogs started getting a rash from chicken and I thought this struggle of finding a food they'll enjoy eating would never end until I tried them on Meals for Mutts Salmon and Sardine Grain free. They love this food and also doesn't give my dog any rashes!!! This has been saving me so much as I use to have to sit there and wait for them to eat or else they wouldn't.
