4711 Eau de Cologne-Watch Bottle - 25 ml

Prada candy was arguably the scent that got me into perfumes. I smelled it in store and fell in love! I ended up purchasing the rollerball and used it frequently right after I got it. It’s definitely true to the name - super sweet, slightly fruity youthful, with a warm ambery undertone. However, as time went on it started to only smell like alcohol to me which is so disappointing because I loved it so much for a while. Pretty sure i’ve become nose blind to it. I still recommend it to first time buyers because this might just be a personal issue.

This is such a unique scent. It is very subtle. It was not what I would have expected from a perfume called “candy”. It was a lot less decadent and a lot less obnoxiously sweet than most candy-themed perfumes. It smelled like a subdued version of cotton candy but with notes of musk that dulls the cotton candy / marshmallow smell. This scent is a mature, tempered version, it is not the cheapy discount store overwhelming fake cotton candy / marshmallow smell, but a more “real” scent that you just want to keep smelling. If you know the John Frieda curl conditioner smell then it’s a lot like this but with a layer of musk. The key notes are: white musk, benzoin, and caramel accord. I really cannot say enough good things about this perfume. This is definitely something that I recommend and that you need to go out and try for yourself. I promise that you won't be disappointed! 😊

I love a good gourmand, and Candy does not disappoint. It’s a delicious scent, initially dominated by the caramel accord, which then settles into a powdery vanilla. It’s just so luscious and rich. I only have two quibbles: 1) the longevity, at least on me, isn’t the greatest, and 2) the 1.7 oz bottle’s nozzle way over-sprays if you’re not careful with the pressure you apply—you gotta approach it *very* delicately. But even if it only lasts a few hours on my skin, I don’t regret my full-size bottle purchase at all. I still love Candy while it’s there.

Lemon, orange, bergamot, lavender, Rosemary, petitgrain, and neroli. This is something I use as a fragrance on super hot and humid days. I also spray in my hands and cup my nose and Inhale deeply when I am super stressed. It’s a very fresh citrus which is both calming and refreshing at the same time. It’s SUPER cheap. I think I paid under $30 for a 1/2 gallon. I love the scent, and the fact that it has such a history of being around for so long. Reminds me quite a bit of Acqua di Parma Colonia, without the spicyness of Colonia. A lot of people keep this in their fridge to freshen up on a hot day. Longevity and siliage aren’t great, but this has always been labeled a refresher, so it acts as an EDT. Still, for the price.. you can’t beat it.A must have in your collection.. cause, why not?? 😬 it comes in a splash, a spray, wipes, soap, shower gel, and deodorant. I picked mine up on Amazon.

This is Prada candy and it’s perfect for anyone who loves a warm, musky, gourmand scent. Comes in many sizes, including a rollerball. This is a floral, warm gourmand…you get those floral tones mixed in. The strongest notes that my nose detects is white musk and some kind of caramel. It opens heavily with the white musk and tones down. Remains a bit musky. This lasts about 3-4 hours on me, then I don’t smell it on myself anymore. You can detect it if you smell your clothes but not walking past someone.

This isn’t a bad scent, but it honestly smells and performs like a drugstore body spray vs a designer EDP. The caramel note isn’t as strong (to me) as other reviewers mentioned- it’s there, but subtle. It also is a bit synthetic, but to be expected (caramel isn’t exactly found in nature lol). It’s a caramel, powdery, musky vanilla perfume. Definitely a skin scent - you’d really have to overspray to get this to project. Probably a good reach if you work in an office or a scent-sensitive environment. There are better options from this brand in my opinion (ie. Prada Paradoxe). 6/10

I think this perfume is misnamed and might scare away people might assume that it is a super sweet, juvenile scent. Candy is most definitely not one of those scents. It is a warm, alluring, very sophisticated perfume that just wraps around you and makes you feel good. It is NOT overpowering or overly sweet at all. From beginning spritz to dry-down, this scent remains light and lovely and lingers for a very long time. Believe me, I have rarely strayed from my florals (pure floral, woody floral, fruity floral, you name it).

Thank you @pradabeauty and #sopost for this sample of Prada Candy EDP. It's a combination of White Musks, Benzoin Caramel. It's a sweet fragrance the musks benzoin balance it out. It does remind of a perfume from back in the 80's or 90's, but I can't put my finger on it. It has a very youthful vibe has a powdery finish to it. If you like sweet musky perfumes, I think you would like this fragrance. I'm giving it 4 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟 because I think the fragrance is a little dated has a very familiar scent. It definitely smells like a fragrance from the late 80's, early 90's....if I can figure it out, I'll edit the review. (I think it's between Liz Claiborne Exclamation)

I'd been sneaking this cologne for years when I was a kid and a teenager. My dad bought it for my mom but she usually did not use fragrances. It has a very clean, invigorating but not overpowering scent; I think there must be a bit of citrus in there. Anyway, it's actually one of those rare scents that is actually for both women and men. It's not too feminine and it's not too masculine. It's just a nice, clean scent that now reminds me of my beloved parents, who are in heaven, and of my great childhood.
