I’m so impressed with this kit, it has everything you need to discover magnets, it has some fantastic experiments and has kept my 7 year fascinated and back trying out new things.I popped into hobby craft for balloons for my son’s birthday but left with a few gifts too! The 3 for 2 gifts is fantastic and what’s on offer is just what I was looking for. Great work hobby craft I’ll definitely be back at Christmas

My nephew seemingly liked it, he's 6 (box says for kids 8+) with a short attention span though so I'll just say he enjoyed it fo the 1-2 hours he opened it up for. I'm sure other kids would appreciated it more. I know I would have. HA

Bought for my 5 year old grandchild, we made a couple of simple things, I then left him to do it on his own with the instructions, he was able to follow the pictures and he was so pleased with himself he moved on to build the rest. Very educational and a lot of fun

Magnets are really strong, so we had fun with the items included, plus things around the house to play with. Made a "necklace" with extra metal nuts, went fishing in a bowl of water, made metal items move around with the magnet under a glass top table! It made for a fun day with such a great Gift for the kids!
A birthday gift for an eight year old . Hoping for great things, might need Dad to help out a wee bit.
Magnets were needed to help my grandson with his homework. These did the job, and then give entertainment and fun. Magnetic fishing was a long forgotten toy until now. There is no horseshoe magnet, but you can build a substitute for when you need it. The plastic mouldings are up to the job they are asked to do. Do read the advice leaflet in the box and protect credit cards et al.
Its a good starter set for entertainment but not strong enough if that's what your expecting. Doesn't move magnetic putty. To explain the concept of magnets, yes.
Bought this for 8 year grandson's birthday and he has enjoyed using the set very much. 5 year old brother enjoys it too - just needed a little help to put the magnets together to get going. Good play value.
