While 30 plus dollars for approx 55litres may seem not cheap.it is ph stabilized and while a suitable growing medium itself,it will make an outstanding potting mix when mixed with organic compounds.it also I believe is superior to peat moss bales.it is well worth the money spent considering factors involved including being ph neutral and having excellent moisture holding capacity while not being oversaturated.ill definitely continue to buy it.i will also use it in my gritty volcanic soil in the garden

I want my money back. Peculiar smell

This item is supposed to be organic but smelled of perfume or chemicals. I lost about 8 packs of seeds because no way would I eat something grown in this product

This has to be the most messy wasteful way to use coco coir. First of all shape doesn't fit in a huge flower pot that holds way more than this is suppose to make. Second, it doesnt make as much as it claims to. I will never use compressed ever again after this experience. I would much rather just by a mix with it in it. Less mess and less money in long run for same quanity. If you are going to use compressed buy smaller bricks that actually fit into containers so you can get them in and soak them. This was a horrible mistake. Now if you are gardening outside I can see where this could be a good product to mix with compost. However for indoor planting this is not the way to go. Too much work and makes a mess every where with fine dust particles when you open it.
