that’s as expected with most shoes. Only issue I have is the shoe is slightly loose on me and I have to wear two pairs of ankle socks to make them fit better. I have always been
a 9.5 shoe size as an adult so maybe these shoes run a little larger not sure. Anyways that would be my only complaint and honestly I was able to resolve it with the two pairs
of ankle socks so all is good. I would recommend these shoes and the price I got them at was amazing.

I have six pairs of these shoes in five different colors (and I'm not a shoe guy - usually just own one pair of running/athletic shoes at a time}. Wear them everyday. Have had a
problem with toe pain with expensive name brand running/athletic shoes, and that problem is solved with the support plates in these shoes. Also have never liked the clunky
look of most running/athletic shoes. These are so comfortable to wear daily, and look great with shorts or pants with the different color options. My wife has 3 pairs and loves

Bought these shoes for rucking and hiking and the shoes are very well made and the weight of the shoe is great as well. Good shoes but need more support

I am a big fan of 5.11. I buy the clothing very often. I was super excited to get the shoes as I had been looking at them online for quite some time. After receiving them, I did like them and felt that the style was very appealing, but I did not like the supportiveness of the shoe. I can wear this shoe casually walking round but I would never use this shoe as my training shoe. The shoe simply does not have enough support around my ankles and the rest of the foot.

Short review is that these shoes, for the price, were a disappointment with the durability, fit, and the value. I purchased my shoes full price from a brick and mortar store.When I first saw these shoes I really wanted to like them because they look good.The first issue that I encountered was his narrow the footbed made the shoe feel. I couldn't wear the shoe with the stick footbed so I swapped it out for another (flatter more neutral) orthotic. The second issue (the biggest deal breaker) was the overall durability of the rubber sole. I used these shoes as my regular daily shoes so nothing high speed nor high use (no outdoor use, range, or tactical). Due to the first two issues, I feel that the last issue is a result of the poor insole and the overly soft/low ... I bought these on sale and I am returning them for the following reasons. The removable insole is very cheap and provide very little cushion. In the heel, the cushion is way too soft and for a 5'-10" 200 person, you can feel the ground. It feels like I am walking on my heels with my toes up in the air. The arch is high which is a good thing for me, but it is positioned way too far aft. I tried putting some insoles from my Asics running shoes and it helped a little but not enough to keep. My 5.11 Pursuit Advance are so much more comfortable, too bad 5.11 stopped making them.

I love this A/T trainer design. It’s been my go to shoe over the past couple years, and whenever they wore out, I bought a new pair. However this recent pair I bought almost 6 months ago appears to have had a design change. They now squeak nonstop, and as another reviewer put it, it’s like walking around in clown shoes. I thought it would go away with time, however after 6 months I have come to the conclusion that the squeak is not going away anytime soon. I also have noticed that they aren’t as breathable as the previous design, however I’m not sure why. Overall I have loved these shoes over the past few years, but can no longer recommend the new design.

Exchanged for a smaller size. Once received tried them on in the house and they squeak loudly with every step. Unfortunately, cannot be returned since I had previously done an exchange so out on a loss now :(. Will not be ordering 5.11 shoes again due to the squeaking. Use to be a big fan of the Waterproof Range Masters and have 3 pairs. Too bad they were discontinued.

soles wear quickly

I am a delivery driver and need a pair of shoes that will hold up and be comfortable all day long. My A/T trainers are durable and keep my feet comfortable throughout the day. They have an awesome quality build that have not started to wear and tear accept for one area. THE SOLES! I have had the shoes for 3 1/2 months and the front and back of the soles are gone. The traction grips in the middle of the sole are also gone making hard to wear in slippery conditions. If these shoes had better soles they would be the best shoe I have ever owned for long periods of standing and running around. Hopefully the A/T trainers and all other A/T lines get a much needed update for the sole that will last.

This new evolution of this great training platform just keeps getting better and better. The shoe still fits like a glove, enough cushioning and snuggy to keep you going through miles of rucking, crossfit WODs or tactical fitness training. I would recommend 5.11 to reinvigorate their social media/youtube platforms, these footwear deserves far more exposure and marketing. The footwear from the brand is just amazing...These trainers are no exception. Durable as my previous two versions have endured and lasted greatly...my feet are protected and my step has great grip on any surface...Did I mention they look awesome?
