These tactical shorts are probably the best shorts I have ever purchased. They are very well made and look like they will last for a long time. They are very comfortable and fit perfectly to the size I ordered. I love the metal snap button and the metal zipper. Great selection of colors and I ordered one of each (7 total). The only negative issue that I could possibly mention would be the cost. That being said, you get what you pay for. I would have no problem at all purchasing these shorts again. I would highly recommend these shorts for tactical use or casual everyday use.

These are by far the best shorts (& pants) on the market as far as I'm concerned. These Stryke shorts have all the right pockets in all the right areas to carry everything you need without anything getting scratched or in the way of another EDC. They fit great and are very comfortable and durable. I have several pairs that are a few years old and they still look great. I would love them even more if they would incorporate a holster system inside the cargo pocket. I actually wrote 5.11 years ago but still nothing. I don't get it. Everyone I tell my idea to agree that it would be good.

Great Shorts. Comfortable not too many pockets. They are true to size fit. I wish there was a little more of a āstretchā or elasticity in the waist. They seem very durable but I guess time will tell. I Iāve in south Florida where it never drops below 70 usually year round and itās very humid. They are pricey but I believe they are worth it. I basically got one of each color so I can mix and match. Will have to compare them to other comparable brand shorts but these seem to do it all.

Great shorts, was looking for quality and durability. I had to upsize from my normal waist size by one from the recommended sizing chart but shorts fit wonderful and are very comfortable. Price was a little high but the shorts should last me a good while. I like the magazine pouch cargo dividers and the Velcro holders on the cover flaps of the pockets keeps stuff in. Shorts are good quality and I will be purchasing more in the future. Thanks 5.11
I write this review begrudgingly, and i really donāt know how many stars to give these shorts. I have owned many pairs of Stryke pants over the years and continue to still wear them daily. I purchased my first pair of shorts this week. I walked into a 5.11 store, grabbed a pair in my size and didnāt really inspect them until I got home. Typically, shorts are just pants that are a few inches shorter than the equivalent pair of pants, and the price reflects as much. These shorts are missing massive features that the pants have - knee pad pockets (understandably), the over engineered belt loops adjacent to the fly, and most importantly - the elastic waistband. My other pair is several years old and held up well. Stains in them only reason I ordered new. The QC seems to be lacking now. Stitching isn't tied in some spots and seem to becoming unraveled. This will probably be my last pair as the prices go up seems the quality has gone down. I ordered a off brand on Amazon for half the price and are holding up better than this pair seems to be.
Great shorts once you find a pair that are actually the size they say they are. I was incredibly annoyed at the inept quality control in terms of keeping the sizing consistent from pair to pair. The employees at the store told me there are multiple factories overseas that make these shorts, and each one makes their sizing a bit different. When I was in store, there was a 1.5" difference in the waist between two exact same pairs of 32x30 shorts.If I'm paying "Made in the USA" prices for "made overseas" clothing, I'd at least expect to have them be the correct size.Having to return multiple pairs to the stores only to find them not have it in stock is ridiculous. These used to be my favorite shorts. Great pocket variety and placement. I've worn them on treks through the Andes, the Alps, the Dolomites, the Sierras, and the Rockies. Problem is that the first thing to fail is the 'snap' closure at the waist. The shorts are in great shape otherwise. And...the snape is more difficult to replace than a button. I have several pair but now three of them are kaput. I will replace them with something else.
These shorts are very nice, comfortable fit and from what I can tell so far the quality of fabric is excellent. They have deep front pockets and big enough for a person with large hands without getting stuck. The side cargo pockets are also large with interior smaller pockets. I am very happy and pleased so far. I recommend and would.buy again.
I donāt have the Stryke shorts but would have had many (have a dozen or so Stryke pants) and would have been buying them for years, if they had the adjustable waist as the pants do. I wear the pants everywhere except to church. During warm weather Iād be wearing the shorts if they had that same waistband as the pants. I keep thinking you guys will get it right sooner or later but itās been years and Iām losing faith.
