My cat absolutely loves these things! I purchased them because I noticed my cat having some pretty bad breath. I purchased these in hopes that they would help with his breath. And shockingly they actually really helped. I haven't noticed near as bad breath now. It seems like they worked fairly quick too! My cat likes these treats so much I have to hide the bag because if he spots it I'll catch him trying to shred it open to get into the treats. I must say my cat approves! And no more stinky breath. I try to keep my cats teeth clean to prevent dental issues when they get older. I brush their teeth occasionally, and give them dental treats. I don't know how well these actually work to clean their teeth, but it makes me feel better at least trying to keep their teeth clean. My cats all prefer crunchy treats as opposed to soft treats, and these are one of their favorite crunchy treats. Only one of them cats for catnip, but all 3 love this catnip flavor. I love that these com in multiple sizes. I usually buy the biggest size in the plastic container.

Of course, they are able to tell time by when they eat, so around 7:45 or so, they start reminding me that treat time is coming up.I usually fling a Greenie on the floor in one direction for Jack Rabbit to chase down and one in the other direction for Sparkle to chase down. She’s the slowest eater on the planet. Jack inhales his food in seconds and also chases after it faster so while he’s distracted chasing and inhaling his Greenie, I throw one the other way for Sparkle.They each get somewhere between 4 and 8 Greenies a night. Dangerous for cats

I bought these as a last resort because my cat won’t allow me to brush his teeth. He gets a cleaning once a year but he still has some issues.I was skeptical because how can a treat clean teeth? My cat liked the treats but shortly after eating them he got terrible diarrhea and stomach illness. Nothing else about his diet changed. It took me a week to get him back to normal after consuming these treats.I looked online and there are more than 10 years worth of testimonials that these treats cause illness in dogs and cats. Some people claim their cats died after eating the treats. Do not buy.

My kitty baby loves Greenies and I've given them to all my cats for years. The product only gets 4 stars because the makers seem ignorant of the ingenuity of cats.This size used to come with a screw on lid, which is always my preference because any food motivated cat can get into this container.Thankfully, the last one I purchased had a screw on lid, so I washed it and dumped the contents of this one in the old container.The lid on this kind can and will just pop off if your cat manages to knock it to the ground from wherever you store it. If the lid happens to stay shut, as it sometimes will, an enterprising cat can simply pry the container open once it's on the floor.Buyer beware! Made my cat sick

My 2 cats loved these, but after giving these treats to them, one of them became very sick with constant vomiting and bloody diarreah. Since this was the only new food/treat, I googled this treat and Greenies for cats has a TONNNN of complaints for the same issue. I threw the bag away and will never give this to my cats again. Don't be fooled by the good reviews here. Do some research before you buy this for your cats. It almost sent my cat to the emergency clinic because her sickness got so bad. I had to bathe her to get the diarreah off of her long hair. After not giving her any more of these for a day, she immediately got better.

My Cats Love These

I bought these treats for the stray/semi-wild cats who I feed. The cats absolutely love them. I was skeptical at first, because even though they are strays, I have basically spoiled these cats rotten. I have been giving them, and still do give them Temptations treats. But Greenies treats are natural and should be better for the cats' health than their beloved Temptations treats, which means that the cats probably won't like them, right? Wrong! I think that my cats are actually starting to prefer Greenies. If they weren't so expensive I would make the switch from Temptations to Greenies for the cats' everyday treats.

I chose this package because I have multiple cats and it was the most economical. But the tub is very flimsy plastic and has smashed (leaving sharp plastic shards) in transit more than once. When I contacted Chewy they said there was nothing they could do about it if the container was smashed because of being packed in with heavier items (it was part of a larger autoship) - they couldn’t or wouldn’t pack certain items more carefully or separately. I could set up a separate autoship, but not sure I want to - I was irked by Chewy’s “oh well, too bad” attitude. If their policy is that they will not take care in packaging, they should at least post a notice on the item, saying they do not recommend ordering it with other items.
