So easy to use. No messy wipes or sprays. Just move over the items you want to sanitize & it's done. Love it.
It comes with goggles but I would suggest using sunglasses instead since the goggles plastic is wavy and you can't really see what you're doing.
I have used the wand repeatedly on all kinds of surfaces. It is easy to use and handy. Replaces using so many disinfecting wipes! I hope the science is as effective as claimed.
I love this product and try to take it with me, everywhere I go. It's portable and very easy to use. It sterilizes very quickly and makes me feel safer. Highly recommend, especially in this day and age.
I used this wand regularly in my office and at home for approximately 5 months when it stopped working. It was charged and I could hear the motor humming, but the lights would not come on. It was suggested I first contact the manufacturer, who was overseas. They asked me to jump through a few hoops, but ultimately they were not helpful. However, The Grommet staff was amazing. They sent me mailing instructions with a pre-paid label and frequently contacted me to see how things were going and to see if I had any questions. I have never dealt with a customer service department that was so efficient! (Those phone companies could learn a lot from them.) Being a nurse it's great to have this at home. I feel like i'm helping to keep my family even safer. I use it inside my car after i leave work and also on my masks and shoes. Great for the cardboard packages as well. It also illuminated "dirty"spots on my tile floor. I also like the cloth protective bag and goggles.
I bought this to use in the consignment shop where I both work and consign jewelry. Tourist traffic is high, so cleaning each piece of jewelry in between customers is nearly impossible. With this wand, it takes just a minute or two to clean and disinfect a large quantity of pieces. I also use it to "clean my mask" during the day. I simply run the wand over the mask 10 times or so and the smell of sweat and hourly use disappears. I love it!
This is the 3rd UV-C wand I have used and it is, by far, the best. The person who wrote the review about it not holding a charge, needs to return it for a replacement. We use ours at least 2-3 times a day, and charge it once a month. It has NEVER stopped worKing for us.
