7 Wonders Architects - You Won't be Sorry!

A great, lightweight family game. Once the pieces are sorted, it takes just moments to set up. The artwork is terrific, and it plays so fast you can easily squeeze in multiple games in a session. Highly recommend.

Even at 7 players, this moves fast.

I love the idea of games with high player counts, like 7 players, and I'm often in a position to play games with up to 7 players, but usually, the reality of playing games with 7 players is not great. The original 7 Wonders addresses this with simultaneous play, which is great, but the iconography takes some time to explain, and if there's someone that's not as experienced with modern gaming, you then need help selecting a card, which means you have to look at their cards they are supposed to be keeping to themselves. Even though 7 Wonders Architects is turn-based, not simultaneous turns, on your turn you typically just take one card from three stacks (2 face up, one face down), and sometimes execute a function of your cards. Definitely a niche that I wanted filled in my game colleciton!

Fun family game with enough tension to make it interesting

Got this to the family table twice and everybody enjoyed it. It moves quick and there is tension as the wonders get close to completion. This is a great family weight game that is probably underrated at this time.

Good easier game for families.
30 December 2022

This game is fast, clean, and mostly fun, but it is short on strategy. It's hard to direct a strategy out of the randomness of the game. But especially for families wanting something accessible, this is a nice game for that genre.

Good intro game

Great game to introduce those younger players, or non gamers, to 7 Wonders. Play is simple & quick & the game components are amazing.

Great game. Played it with friends before and it was great to get a cope with the Kickstarter cat piece. The game came in great condition and on time.

Great gateway

This is a game to introduce modern gaming to people. Card drafting at its simplest but still fun for the seasoned gamer too. Pick one of three cards each turn and go from there. So fast so fun.

Welcoming Game
25 April 2023

This new version of 7 Wonders is a lot easier for newer gamers to pick up. The production quality and setup time ate both great. I also think the wonders feel more a part of the game than the original. You actually build a unique flat wonder piece by piece. When built, several of your wonder pieces trigger your unique wonder powers.I'd like to try it with the maximum number of players to see if it keeps the smooth playthrough at every player count.

Wonderful Gateway

Excellent components and the best game component storage of any game I’ve seen. This is a great game to introduce for non gamers. It’s also fun enough for players already deep into the hobby. Decisions feel meaningful even though they are limited to just three options per turn. Games are very quick and take about 25 min for three players. The game length feels just right and satisfying. Not to short and never outstays it’s welcome. Highly recommended for all gamers’ collections.

Easy to mount to my deer feeder and looks like it will work well. Appears to be well made but only time will tell about that.
