Switch is docked, plugged the USB into the dock, enabled wired pro controller setting in Switch settings, other controller pairs perfectly, and then nothing. Can't navigate menus, can't play any games, can't connect during the middle of a game. Definitely more like 8bitDON'T. But it operated exactly as expected and did not disappoint. Do not recommend.

I purchased this after one of the old generations stopped supporting the PS4 and Xbox controllers on Nintendo Switch.Second time I got disappointed. If you have a controller from this company and then you want to use the adapter with another controller, let’s say a PS5 controller… you won’t be able to use both. Because the adapter connects to the one from this company, even though such controller doesn’t need the adapter for the switch. Never buying an adapter from this company again.

Bought this for my PC because the onboard Bluetooth kept losing connection. This thing works flawlessly. I don’t use my switch much but now I have to option to use my Xbox controller when I do! Highly recommend

Product does work to some extent. I can connect my ps4 controller to my PC with it and use it to play. But often it disconnects while in game or stoos functioning correctly and then i cant control my game anymore. Then it struggles to reconnect. This completely ruins the gaming experience.
Works well with modern control pads like Dual Shock 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch Pro.However, it is missing some features for older controllers. I'm using this for the Nintendo Switch with my Wii U Pro Controller, and everything works EXCEPT screenshot/video record. There is no button for it, but other adapters have resolved this.This adapter also required an update before I could use it with my Wii U Pro controller. Those without a computer should know this.
I got two of these adapters for my Switch to use PS4 controllers on them. They work perfectly. Super easy to sync up PS4 controllers. Rumble works as well.The only issue is the adapters are thick so I needed a multi-port USB hub so I could use two of these 8bitdo adapters simultaneously.
I refused to buy the pro controller when i had a dualsense…i even looked at getting the 8bitdo controller that works with switch cause it was cheaper than the pro controller. However what’s chesper then that controller is this adapter that let’s you use the dualsense. 70 to 20 real quick great product.
I was having trouble with the bluetooth connection on my motherboard. If I would get a few feet away from the PC it would try to reconnect multiple times. I would get about 2 minutes of gameplay and it would have issues. After purchasing the adapter I can now sit away from my pc and use my bluetooth controller correctly. I used this for a Xbox series X controller. It works amazingly. It says compatibility includes using on Nintendo Switch with it docked. I havent used this feature yet, but purchased a second one to try.
This is an excellent little Bluetooth device. This allows me to connect my XBOX wireless controller to my PC since the board does not have bluetooth on it. It connects to anything I connect to my PC (iPad, game controller, phone, wireless headset, etc.) and the price was pretty decent. I plan on buying another one here soon as well.
i will never go back to using the uncomfortable joycon controllers thanks to this thing. playing the new zelda using my ps5s dualsense controller is the best way to play it. ive even got my dualshock 3 controller working on it. by far one of the best switch accessories
