A+D Prevent Diaper Rash & Skin Protectant Original Ointment - 4 oz box

I received this product at the perfect time! My little boy was in the middle of a stomach bug and we got to really try it out for quite a few days in a row right when it came in the mail! I started using this ointment right away and it made a huge difference with his diaper changes. It’s a thick salve/ointment and it’s easy to spread. It doesn’t have much of a smell which I appreciate. It helped relieve so much of his bottom pain during diaper changes and made it easy to wipe him thoroughly. I will definitely be repurchasing this product!

I received A+D Original Ointment free to try for my honest opinion. This ointment is a baby skin moisturizer that instantly forms a protective barrier to seal out wetness and help prevent diaper rash. It also temporarily protects minor cuts, scrapes and burns and helps relieve your chapped, chafed or cracked skin and lips. It is free of parabens, dyes and phthalates, this ointment contains vitamins A and D! It is also really good for dry skin patches on the face! This is all I use for my little ones bottom to help prevent diaper rash! I love it how it protects his precious skin. I do recommend!

I am a full hardcore aquaphor momma, so it is hard to even try this on my child lol I think it did help a bit for a small red area in the diaper area but not like regular aquaphor would. We haven’t had one bad diaper rash at all, minor ones yes but in a few hours it’s gone with the aquaphor 🤯😍 lifesaver!! I use it for everything, even to slug my face(look it up lol) I am still going to use this A+D for other things tho since it didn’t help as much as the other w diaper rash. I tried it on my lips and it kept them feeling nice when chapped and helped. And if any cuts or scrapes come about I will use it on those. I def am not against this product, I think it’s good, but nothing can pull me from aquaphor lol

So I have super sensitive skin and my biggest problem is I’m allergic to nickel! So if it not the greatest jewelry, my belt or jeans button or even my Apple Watch band that actually came from Apple I break out in small painful red bumps and they itch! A+D ointment has always worked for me!!! I’m was so excited to get this box because I know it works! I can actually wear certain things because I can treat the areas quickly with A+D and I don’t have a break out. Plus this is the only stuff we use on our tattoos in my household!

As the title says, there’s a reason why this stuff has been around forever! And that reason is because it’s a great product! It has so many uses, from babies to adults rashes and my favorite use, tattoo healing! I received this stuff just in time as I was just going to get a new tattoo so I’ve been applying it for healing! My husband likes to use it often not only for his tattoos, but he is a construction worker and sometimes those hot days are not friendly on the down below areas! Then I have my son who plays football and track and also uses it for any rubbing rashes or cuts etc from the field. And lastly my sporty daughter for those softball sliding cuts! Basically, this stuff is a staple in our house! Always have some on hand!! Highly recommend!

A+D Original Ointment is a true classic for diapering. It's been my go-to for each of my four babies spanning the last 20 years! I don't know much about the science behind the ingredients but I do know that it really works. It's not just great at clearing up diaper rash; it's a skin protectant so it works as a preventative as well. It also works on chapped cheeks in the winter months. And there's just something about that iconic scent that takes me right back to the teeny tiny baby days!

We hadn’t tried this brand of diaper rash ointment before and we were impressed trying it for the first time. I think the biggest thing with diaper rash ointments is the consistency and the scent. A thick barrier cream is best and either unscented or a light clean scent. Some other brands smell terrible or have a thinner consistency which don’t last between diaper changes even. We will continue to use this brand and recommend it to our friends with babies as well.

I applied a small amount - a little goes along way - even use it as a moisturizer prior to using make up. Yes it can be oily so apply very small amounts. My facial skin is super dry and this felt so soothing - I wanted to cry. When he saw the packaging he said his tattoo artist told him to use this for better healing and decrease risk of scarring on his tattoo site. The smell is tolerable by me but maybe others won’t be. Smells a tad bit like fish oil. But I don’t mind it as it has been the ONLY ointment that has started to heal my eczema/dermatitis. I even use it to remove my make up. I have low estrogen due to breastfeeding which causes sensitive dry skin.
