I am loving my new mattress ! I had a mattress in a box what a waste of money that was ! It was like trying to sleep on a wooden board never again. So I went back to A. H. Beard mattress from Appliances Online and now I can sleep all night again, even with bursitis in the hips and arthritis in my back.Can’t recommend this mattress enough ! And from Appliances online I got a great deal plus almost next day delivery, the guys delivering were so helpful too. I really couldn’t have done better anywhere else.

I am absolutely loving my BIG COMPFORTABLE BED and so pleased A.H.BEARD had exactly what I wanted and needed!!!! My precious Husband passed away on 30/4/23 after fighting a Glio Blastoma Gr 4 Brain Tumour for 21mths and I was by his side all day everyday * THE PAIN FOR BOTH OF US WAS UNBEARABLE*DVA came and took the special bed and HE had been sleeping on & I was very uncomfortably sleeping in a SKINNY KING SINGLE painfully after giving our Queen bed away when he was diagnosed!My BIG BED WAS A FABULOUS PRICE AND IS HELPING ME IN MY GRIEVING TIME TO LIVE WITHOUT THE 'THE LOVE OF MY LIFE'!!!Thank you Sincerely A.H.Beard and ANDOO

My daughter loves it. The base its on has some flexibility in the slats. I've tried this in a king size on my hard wood slat base and found it more of a medium feel. Firmer than when I layed on daughters in Queen size. I'm 65 kg. My mum who is 90 kg layed on it and loved it. If your a healthy wt and like more of a plush feel the Antwerp is wonderful on ward wood slats.

Recommend this matress with a true plush feel. Adult son loves it.Got it in a king for myself too. I love mine too. Soft on my shoulders and hips. Better than my old $4000 AH beard flexigel mattress Light enough to lift to make bed..Great for side sleepers.If you were a heavy overweight person 90+ kg you may find it too soft.
Very dissapointing. The mattress is hard around the outside perimeter but sags badly in the middle. If I'm not perfectly centred the hard lumps dig in to me and hurt my ribs. The sag is causing lower back pain. I will probably have to buy another mattress but it will certainly be another brand. Their warranty entails having to pay for sanitisation by their choice of company and transport to and from them.
WE BOUGHT THIS MATTRESS TO ACCOMMODATE MY LARGE WEIGHT. UNFORTUNATELY IT IS NOT "FIRM". THE MANUFACTURER'S TECHNICIAN VISITED US TO SEE THE PROBLEM AND HE HAD A NEW MATTRESS TO US AFTER ONE WEEK. NOW THE REPLACEMENT MATTRESS IS BEHAVING IN EXACTLY THE SAME WAY (SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS). WE WILL NEVER BUY A BEARD MATTRESS AGAIN , AND WILL THINK TWICE ABOUT SHOPPING ONLINE AGAIN!!!
This is definitely the worst mattress we ever bought. Moreover, we do not have any recourse because of AO’s policy oc not returning mattress.We were looking for a firm mattress to get good support for our backs, and the description of this mattress fitted that requirement.However, the mattress is not even close to firm. It is extremely soft and sags easily, making our back condition worse. I am sure a cheap non-branded product would be better than this.It seems we have no option but to get rid of this mattress at our own expense.I would not recommend buying mattresses from AO to anyone.

The mattress height is advertised as 300mm high but it is actually 340-350mm high, which is too high and is not a comfortable height to get into.2. So, I thought “don't throw good money after bad”.My Advice:- Never buy a mattress from a shop that only sells online because you cannot “Try before you Buy” and especially if the company has no “Customer Satisfaction Guarantee” for the product. Also, I believe AH Beard products are made to order for different shops and therefore may/will vary greatly in performance and feel from shop to shop.

First, congrats to Appliances Online for providing great delivery service & extremely competitive pricing. Free delivery-wow!The Mattress: It's just what I needed, good quality & so far seems perfect. However, make sure you do the research as I wanted plush but was told that Domino Mattresses are quite soft & therefore I should get a medium. Spot on & it's suitable for Adjustable Beds even though the description says it's not. I confirmed with the manufacturer. Hopefully, years of use ahead.
