First time using this yarn, and it is beautiful to work with. The wool in it makes it nice and warm. Obviously a lot heavier in weight to an acrylic yarn. Love the colour varigations too.

I love Abbey Road wool to be wild. It works up so beautifully. Never splits, doesn't snag on my fingers, it is gorgeous, soft, and warm.

I knitted a jumper in the pink mix colour and love the finished project. The yarn is soft and easy to work with. There were no knots in the multiple balls I used
Happy with the wool but very disappointed that the 10 balls ordered were 2 different dyelots - which did not match very well. Having made many calls I was unable to find a store within a days drive to get more. I think that a clear warning should be given when a garment sized qty is ordered. I will never order wool for a garment again.
Solid performer. Used it for weaving on a rigid heddle loom. Wool content gives a good little element if stretch.
Recently bought this yarn to make a sweater. It's great and easy to work with however, as other reviews have pointed out, every ball I buy consists of multiple areas where the yarn has been knotted together meaning I am constantly having to undo these knots and work in a new end. It's incredibly frustrating and gives the impression they just add scrap yarn together to make a ball. I could understand if this happened in a ball every now and then but so far 7 balls in a row have had this happen at multiple points within the ball.
.I got this wool and at first I loved it but when I got to my third ball of yarn it had been tied 5 times in the one yarn ball. Each tie was not the colour it was fading into and I completely ruined the pattern. Very frustrating for such expensive wool. I don't recommend this wool for big projects.
I love this yarn with its wool content. Crochets up beautifully to make some lovely throws. Really warm and has a lovely weight to the finished product.
I can’t use this wool for my jumper project - I purchased 6 balls & got 4 different dye lots. Online order does not provide space for any notes to staff packing the order.
