The A'bunadh whiskey is part of that collection signed by the Aberlour distillery which is characterized by a peculiar Sherry imprint. It originates, in fact, from the union of single malts coming from small lots and left to mature inside barrels previously containing excellent Sherry Oloroso. The sweet and smoky notes intertwine in a feast of perfumes, on the nose, reminiscent of caramel, creme brulè, dried fruit and raisins. On the palate the caramel returns in a long persistence, binding itself to an enveloping trace of chocolate and fading into flavors of red berries. It makes balance its strong point. To be enjoyed with the addition of a few drops of water that enhance the profile.
