I saved and purchased two of these last fall, WOW!!! For the price, you will not find a better quality reel. They were designed for cranking, but I've found that slow rolling spinner baits and even heavy jigs are right in this reels' wheel house. If you want to skirt a jig on the bottom, heavy cover situation, this is the go-to reel. If you don't own at least two of these, you don't know what you're missing!!!Big Zac

Let start off by saying this is the best reels I own, besides my revo sx,. I bought it about a month ago as a late christmas present for myself. I have been needing a good crank bait reel but never could find a good one in my price range. Finally after hours and days of looking I stumbled across this online and instantly bought it. When it came in I couldn't believe how light and smooth it was. I use this for deep crank baits and can hardly tell anything is on the other end. I defiantly recommend this product to anyone that wants a good crank bait reel!
This reel is a brute, and I mean that in the best way. It is a big reel, has huge line cap, and a drag that is super strong and smooth all day long.Even though it is big, it is designed so you can palm it easily.Always comfortable in my the hand. I have the model 51. It casts a country mile, much farther then you would expect for this big of a reel..The reel is very smooth, except when casting it is extremely noisy. Rarely does it backlash, and when it does it's not because of the reel. The casting control and brake are great. As is the pitch brake. Highly recommended except for the noisy casting.
I was shopping for a new setup to throw A-Rigs and big swimbaits but had a relatively tight budget to stay within. There were 4 things I was looking for in the reel I would eventually purchase:1. Low gear ratio (in the 5:1 range)2. Stout drag system3. Decent spool capacity4. Low profile and lighter weightThe Abu Garcia Orra Winch had all four and was under $100. The only thing it had left to do was prove itself. I would say that it did so in a big way. The first fish I caught on it measured 25" long x 21" girth and the reel performed flawlessly. This is one of the smoothest reels I own and would not hesitate to purchase more from the Orra lineup in the future. Fantastic value for such solid performance.
I purchased this reel before winter started last year and I have to say it has performed very well. 25lb redfish, stripers, occasionally a carp or decent bluecat, this reel has worked very well in all applications. Strong and smooth drag, nice line capacity in a palmable reel, smooth gearing, the description fits. My only disagreement on design is the gear grease door on the housing. I would rather have a sealed case than partially open one. Overall, great real. Definitely would recommend it.
i got this for my birthday, and couldn't be happier. I spend most of my time dragging a shaky head worm, but when the bass need something more exciting to get them to bite I pick up my Abu Garcia Orra Winch baitcaster and can pull a deep crank in 10-12 feet of water like I was in 2-3 feet of water. The reduced stress on my cranking hand and wrist allows for much longer and painless days on the lake. I highly recommend this reel to every serious bass catchers collection.

I use spinnerbaits in the spring, summer and fall using 3/4 to 1 oz baits. But they were wrong, all the featured was supporting each other and make this reel become a great reel. The Synchronized TiN Coated Levelwind System its really help us to keep our braid/mono in good condition because its can move following the line out. The greatest feature was the line capacities that almost the same with a 8000size spinning reel with only a half weight. Many people say if we want a bigger spool why we didn't look for a round profile that more cheaper than this reel.
