I was fishing out of state for Smallmouth Bass on the Snake River, slipped and broke the only spinning reel I had. I found this reel to replace my broken one, and it totally stood up to much more than I had expected.I’m going to buy at least one more!

Used this reel twice so far and it casts amazing! Only had a couple of backlashes trying to get it dialed in, but once it is set, you're all good to go. I have not hooked into a fish yet, so I don't know how it will hold up to a good fish yet. Hence the 4 stars. I will update once I've brought in a few fish with this reel.

I use both this Revo X20 spinning reel with a Abu Garcia Vengeance rod. I have nick named my pole, "Sniper" because it is spot on when casting. You can't miss. I am very pleased with the performance of my Abu Garcia combo.This reel is fantastic. It is on my every trip required list to have with me.
Nice reel. I own reels in this price range and its just as good. Nothing really sticks out about it. It does its job. Smooth retrieve and cast. Good drag. I'd be disappointed if there was anything to complain about but theres not. I own a couple pfluegers that are a little cheaper and just as good but i like the way this looks on my lighting shock rod so i spent a little extra.
Love the new reel exactly what I needed . Handles really well . The design is perfect, lighter than older models. Best fathers day gift . I will definitely buy another one. Keep it up basspro !
Overall, this is a very smooth retrieving reel. However, on the 10 size, there is a tendency, due to the strongly backward tapering of the reel from the base of the spool to the base of the bail attachment, for the line to get wrapped and wound below the base of the spool when retrieving. Not sure if this is an issue on the bigger versions of this reel. Best to manually close, not auto-close, the bail on retrieval.
Returning. Rotor heavily biased toward base of spool, in fact the rotor line guide travels a good bit beyond the spool and wraps a few turns on top of the spool base each time (braid). I don’t see any way to adjust level wind travel or remove shims, so this pretty much makes the reel unusable. I saw a similar comment on a different site, so I’m not alone.I’ve been happy with my Revo baitcasters, but my first Revo spinning reel is a disappointment.
This reel works great and very smooth! Long distance casting is no problem paired with the Veritas rod that was a free bonus when I purchased the reel. Another awesome deal through Sportsman Warehouse. I am actually going back today and getting the spinning reel too before the their promo expires.
One of the most underrated reels. Super smooth and lighter than any other reel at this price point. Doesn't have a reverse switch but I never use that so no big deal. I found it cheaper at other retailers but Sportsman's price matched. Definitely would recommend.
