Abus Padlock 65/40 with 63mm Extended Shackle, Keyed Alike

This is a very solid feeling padlock. It is weighty and the hasp clicks into place easily and without the struggle I have experienced with other padlocks. The twin pack where both padlocks have the same key was a very sensible and economical purchase for us because we no longer need to search for two keys to unlock two doors that are adjacent to each other. The padlocks are both used outside and to date there has been no evidence of any issues caused by the torrential rain we have had since putting them on. One of the new padlocks was to replace a smaller, much older ABUS padlock that had given excellent service for about 20 years so if these two are as good as the original one, they will see us out!

Fantastic product, very strong and does the job. Excellent service from safe with us. I would recommend these locks as they seem such value for money for suited padlocks. We have been using them for over 3 months now outside on gates all around the school and they have been well tested. They don't seem to freeze either like a lot of locks. As I said Safe with us provided a wonderful service. I rang them for advise on which lock would be suitable for our needs and was recommended the ABUS 65/40. Order placed over the phone and received the locks the next day.

I chose this padlock because, from its description, it appeared robust, had a large shackle to fit my metal gate frame, appeared to be made of rustproof materials and came with three keys. I'm very pleased to find that the description was very accurate and the pad lock does have all these features, and its intricate key will offer good resistance to anyone tampering with it. It's strong frame an d latching lock will also resist it being prised open with some force. There were plenty more pad locks to choose from on the site but the ABUS 65/60 fits my bill absolutely.

Needed two of a kind same key padlocks and the ABUS was recommended in my search criteria. I purchased these from SAFE as I have had previous experience with them. The padlocks are very good quality and fit to my purpose for shed security. I would highly recommend when purchasing that you read the dimensions and specs of the padlock to see if it's within your requirement specifications. The padlocks are made of solid brass and the shackles are hardened steel that are advertised as plated with extreme corrosion resistance, I guess only time can tell regarding this claim. Its inner components are I believe made of non corrosive materials making it ideal for outdoor use.

Not expecting the earth from this padlock due to its size, however it makes a deterrent from a casual thief and gives me a better sense of security. Shackle size chosen because its the largest that would go through the item its protecting, and because its an abus lock, so quality is very good as expected. Pleased with it.

We have used abus brass keyed alike padlocks before for our boarding kennels .(one padlock per kennel ,38 kennels).useing keyed alike was a key factor for convenience of emergency accessibility etc,the quality and durability proved to be excellent.The said locks were used every day for twenty eight years!with the occasional service of a drop of oil.We have recently retired (said locks are still in use by the new proprietor) so when we needed new locks for our own dogs kennels at our new home it was the only option for us!Quality still as good ,so very pleased to use abus locks again.Will definitely recommend this product.

Not very secure.

This lock is good to protect against curiosity I should say. Im a novice lock-picker *as a hobby on locks not guarding anything* and I can pick this lock consistently in about 3 seconds with minimal effort, so if somebody wants to get in, they can. So I wouldnt trust this to guard anything out in public but say it would be perfect for deterring a curious child from opening something that could be harmful, this would be perfect, something like a medicine cabinet, maybe a closet. It has various uses but Id recommend using in a private indoor location. Not terribly secure.

Quality corrosion-resistant brass padlocks

These brass Abus padlocks are great in a marine environment; and carry on working year after year, where cheaper makes will eventually seize solid 2 padlocks with matching keys is v useful where you have the locks in the same location

Good price for 4 keyed alike padlocks. Came with 5 keys in total, so all our key bunches could have one. Security rated as 5 on packaging. Very pleased.
