Just one of these wee units (slightly taller than one of those skinny Coke cans) provides nearly the same strength/quality of wifi signal around my 2 level house, compared to a 3 unit Google Wifi. With PoE from a switch it also cuts down on cables. The unit does seem to run a bit hot (but apprarently a lot of the Unifi access points and switches do a bit).Not cheap, but passed the wife test, sitting on a cabinet beside the telly.

I liked the lower prices and fast appearing shipping, but 2 orders now have been missing things like screws, or sent with sensitive electronics bare in an envelope.Losing my faith.

Simple to setup and nice looking device. As usual AP.
Simple to install and works first go on home network with two primary svchool students and three adults WFH. Adds to existing three APs and shows up when installed on the browser based UniFi controller. A presentable and minimalist design - sits vertically on family room bench which presciently, has accessible ethernet point. Only complaint is that the PoE is 48V not 24V like previous UniFi APs, so no redundancy.
Really pleased with my 3 x FlexHD (plus an old AC-Pro for guests & IoT).Yes, there are some quite steep parts on the Unifi learning curve, but the UI community forum is extremely helpful and regularly visited by UI tech folkUnifi is not plug & play, but when you get it going it just works (my AC-Pro has not needed any intervention or reboot for 4+ years apart from firmware upgrades).Be aware that UI tries to suck usage data (blocked at my firewall).If you are a home user, you should probably avoid the free cloud management UI provides unless you can imagine some use-case for remotely managing your home WiFi.
Bought one of these as part of a home network upgrade along with two AC In Wall's. Performance is great and I hardly notice it in the study.
Surprisingly compact but capable access point. I bought this for use outside, and the design works well for mounting on poles or walls, it’s more flexible (no pun intended) than the other ubiquti models in this regard. How long it will last in sea air, only time will tell. The antenna performance is excellent, although be warned this model does appear to ignore UK channel and power limits when set to outdoor mode. The unit is happily supporting more than 100 simultaneous clients (low bandwidth use) and no issues seen with a high turnover of clients (approx 1500 unique clients per day). All in all it’s a decent unit and recommended.
Fairly easy to set up. Great connectivity when you do. I think I am going to like it a lot.
Great to extend your Mesh-Wifi network. Miles better then Powerline.
