This Lancing Device is easy to use and well made. It is simple to insert the lancing cartridge and adjust the depth gauge to your own personal preference. This is the finest lancing device that I have used in my 32 years as a Type 1 Diabetic.

My daughter finds this softer than other devices, and it has different settings to use according to the hardness of your skin,. She is fine on setting 2 and this is always enough for her to produce enough blood for the test. It has 6 lancets in one pod so no need to change the needle every time, you just click on to select the next needle in the pod. Would recommend especially comparing to other devices.

Brilliant

I bought this for my new meter (which is not the same brand). I have used one attached to my old meter and find it easy, painless and lightweight. I have to now buy the drums to put in it but it is soo worth it. I will not use any other lancet pen. The reason I bought it was because I did not want to separate my old lancet pen from the machine as it attaches to the machine. I am so impressed I am now going to buy another one for my spare machine.

Easy and convenient,

The lancets come in a little cartridge of 6 which easily slots into the device. You change the lancets with the flick of a switch. So much more convenient than fiddling with individual lancets. You can adjust the depth of the lancet to make it more comfortable. Have been using this for years. Highly recommend.

Fastclix lancing device

This is the best lancing device I have used as it draws blood efficiently and usually painlessly. I use it 4/5 times a day and the spring mechanism does eventually wear out. Mine seem to last about 4 years and the current one is getting near to that so this one will replace it.

A very important part of being diabetic is testing ones blood glucose and I would RECOMMEND this device. If I was not type 1 then this system could be costly for a type 2 if you tested more than 1-2 times a day. A Type 1 would need to ask their doctor or CCG if the drum lancets can be prescribed for this device and if they can then you would only have to pay for this product once until it breaks, you can use any brand of tester as this is only a finger pricker and the best one there is, it carries 6 lancets inside a drum which are easily changed before each test and the drum itself can be removed with ease and replaced within seconds this eliminates the need to carry spare lancets and manually change to a new one before each test not mentioning that some of these ... MoreA very important part of being diabetic is testing ones blood glucose and I would RECOMMEND this device. I recommended this device to a fellow T1 complete stranger on a NHS course and she was amazed at how such a small change in medical tech changed her approach to testing, finger pricking was a big fear of hers and over night her confidence changed.

If you need to stab yourself every day because of diabetes this device does a quick & painless job. It can be used with any brand of reading system so is not manufacturer specific. Lancets are in six shot cartridges so compact.

Straightforward to use.

Useful because depth can be adjusted easily and the cartridges do five lancings at a time without having to fiddle with replacing them.
