- Apart from youtube, I didn't notice the ghosting much in real world tests. Flickering was really bad though - I only really noticed the problems when I looked up "monitor ghosting test" and clicked on a few. Mainly testufo and eizo. It did alright for some of eizo and I can consider some of the bad being because of how I calibrated it. But with the ufo test it did really poor. Apart from the high frame rate and no noticable motion blur, the ghosting was extremely apparent, and the flickering was awful and hurt my eyes just to look at it - I'm sure my calibration can explain some of the results - And I'd imagine hardware (and probably software) configuration is a factor so you might have better/worse results depending on your specs - I don't know much about ... More- Apart from youtube, I didn't notice the ghosting much in real world tests. I couldn't even think of someone to recommend it to. Not for gamers, not for consuming content, maybe people who edit photos but I don't know anything about color accuracy so cannot say for sure if it is good for that - I mean for just simple web browsing it's fine I guess if ghosting doesn't bother you. But you don't need a 1440p 60Hz display for that To discribe it in one word: usable. Because that's about all it is. Depending on your use case, it might not even be that

Decent value monitor for the size and price. While I had a defective monitor the first time (horizontal bars on the bottom half after a half hour of use that stayed even after it cooled down and had no inputs connected), it was quick and easy to replace, and the second one has worked flawlessly. for a standard use monitor and light basic gaming it's perfect. 27" in 1080 is great if you have a hard time reading small fonts. and in games it keeps icons large. If you're looking for a sharper image, go for a 1440 monitor, but plan to spend twice as much for it! If you want a secondary monitor for your setup this also is a good choice monitor!

Overall, I was happy with this monitor for a couple of months. After a little over a year or so, the inputs started switching randomly for a few hours and then it would stop doing it for weeks. A few weeks later, the issue repeated. I sent my monitor to Acer for repair. I asked them to call me before shipping it back to me so I can explain the issue. My monitor was shipped back without my knowledge and they stated nothing was wrong with it. Well of course just like I stated before the issue stops for weeks so yeah it would not repeat for them. Fine, I continued to use is as normal. The issue happened continuously for months at random. This time I recorded it on video. Fine, I continued to use is as normal. The issue happened continuously for months at random. This time I recorded it on video. I sent it back and asked them again to contact me, I even left a letter inside on the monitor for their tech support. I contacted them on chat and let them know I have a video to send to show them what's happening. They said they would let me know if they needed my video. Of course, they didn't let me know AGAIN and shipped it back saying they stress tested it and nothing was wrong. I tried this monitor on 2 PCs and 1 laptop and the results are the same, so that rules my main computers hardware out. So beware, if you buy from this company don't expect to have your products repaired or replaced. I think after this, I will find something else as my secondary monitor.
This is a reasonable monitor if that is all you want it for. It does not appear to have any speakers or sound at all. Thus I am considering returning it. There are few instructions that go with it and those are not well illustrated and explained. I thought I would be able to hook it up with Roku, Fire Stick, or an antenna and use it as a duel monitor or tv. I have to buy speakers and other cables to hook it up. The additional expense makes it not as economic as I thought. I get an actual TV at Best Buy at close to the same price.
Got this for work to have a second screen bigger view. Now I have 27 inch along with my other one that is a 24 on the right side of my new Acer 27 inch monitor. Very nice display for work use. The stand is nice and locks in very well for great support. I use a HDMI cable that I bought separately. It comes with the normal VGA standard one but I prefer HDMI for the best.
when I visited the store back in early April I bought a pre-build PC and this monitor. There is additional insurance that you can purchase, I did not. Overall love the pixel quality, great 2k monitor. I dont know how but the curve is amazing and does make a difference. I also got a great deal on it. I will definitely be back to the store to grab another one in the near future
I am a college student using this display as a second monitor for my Dell Inspiron 15 7567 Gaming Laptop with a Nvidia GTX 1050 graphics card. It has been great so far. I have it connected to my laptop with an HDMI cable and have not had any issues whatsoever. Pretty much a plug-and-play experience. It's a great size for productivity and gaming on my small desk. I'm no expert in color accuracy or anything, but it looks great to my eye and gets plenty bright for my needs. The anti-glare finish is one of the better ones I've seen and completely eliminates reflections in my environment when looking straight on at it. Gaming on it has been a great experience. It looks and feels smoother than my laptop display thanks to the 75hz refresh rate. If you have an Nvidia graphics card, don't expect to be able to use FreeSync, as Nvidia cards only support Freesync over DisplayPort, which this monitor doesn't have. I can't speak to how it handles Freesync as I don't have an AMD graphics card to test it with. Overall, I would highly recommend this monitor for someone on a budget who wants to game or do productive things on it. As I said, I can't speak for the color accuracy or usefulness for photo or video editing, but it's fine for my needs. Just make sure you're not expecting FreeSync to work if you have a graphics card that isn't AMD.
I was super hesitant buying a monitor that had Tn not IPS panel, and was 60 not 75hz. But the 1ms response, and the fact it was on sale and barely in my budget forced my hand - everything else at same price was a garbage business monitor for Excel and such. Boy was I surprised. The brightness looks WAY better than a lot of monitors, seems much higher than the stated 250 cd/m2. Same with Contrast, It seems way better than 1000:1. I dont know what this Acer "ComfyView" is but it WORKS. And they did not lie about 1ms response. while this isnt a true gaming monitor bc of the low refresh rate, its close! Darn close for the price! I am using it on a machine i built just for my flight sims and its great so far! a few screen tears randomly but nothing too bad. I am using it on a machine i built just for my flight sims and its great so far! a few screen tears randomly but nothing too bad. It looks fantastic, its response time is great like a gaming monitor, it just has a few patches where it cant quite keep up during intense gaming so you get *minor* screen tearing during intense action. I got it 27% off so it was a no-brainer. Its either this as a *steal* for the price and you live w 60hz, or you drop 250 on a true gaming monitor, that frankly may not look as good! Gaming: Decent Standard Monitor Desktop Stuff: One of the best monitors I have owned, cant believe it is TN not IPS, its so gorgeous.
Technically, the product seems fine. Ergonomically, it is lacking. You cannot adjust the tilt without inserting a long screwdriver into the stem and removing two screws and taking the base apart. To test whether the tilt is correct, you then have to put the base back together again. If the tilt is not right, you have to repeat the process over and over until you get it where you want it. If you want to use the monitor in a different position (e.g., elevated), then you have to to through this whole process each time you move it. The price was relatively low, so I guess I got what I paid for.
