1440p is a noticable step up from 1080p
HDR400 really means nothing for the average joe.240hz and 1440p were just what I was looking for. For an honest comparison, it really is just a slightly smoother experience but the 1440p is the only reason to buy. The colors kind of look a bit duller compared to my smaller 24inch 1080p monitor but the viewing experience is waaaaay better.... Show more

240Hz and Amazing FPS
This monitor is curved, I wasn't paying attention to that when I purchased it. I have a 27in flat monitor right now, so I wasn't sure if it would work. Answer, yes it does, it's not curved that dramatically. Playing BF5 last night was amazing, I was blazing through with speed.System: MSI X570 Tomahawk WIFI MOBO, Ryzen 7 5800X, ASUS AMD TUF gaming RX 6800XT graphics card.Pros: Fast! getting the 240Hz, games were smooth! Curved just right!Cons: 2 x HDMI 2.0, 1 x DisplayPort 1.4. I wish they had it the other way, 2 x DisplayPort 1.4... Show more

Best Bang for Buck
I was looking at another model online, and my friend was the one to drive there and pick it up. However, he noticed this one and it ticks so many boxes: 2560×1440 resolution at 27" which puts it at a comfortable 108 ppi; available 240 Hz refresh rate; DisplayHDR 400 certification; the panel stand tilts, pivots, adjusts heights. And it was such a good deal! I decided to pull the trigger on it instead, and I can't say I have regrets!I was not considering a curved panel, and was trepidatious about it, but it's grown on me and seems to be fine for office work as well. It's not as bright as the other model in specs, but in practice, I would likely not notice. Worked with Freesync, and now G-Sync.The oddest thing is that I can only really find this model (at least, ... Other Acer Nitro monitors are similar in being curved, but 1080p. Or don't have as fast of display but are flat panel. It seems pretty much the range-topping version of a Nitro line. It's not "cheap" but it IS a great value, in my opinion.... Show more

Fantastic monitor. Almost perfect
This is an unbelievable monitor for the price. Refresh rate is buttery smooth and the picture is sharp. The only reason I'm not rating it 5 stars is the lack of usb ports/hub and the color took a little bit of work to dial in. Neither of those are deal breakers for me, but they are conveniences that you can find in some other monitors. I got this monitor on sale for $399 and you really can't beat it for that kind of price.... Show more

Good monitor
It works fine on my old HP with a Intel 4790S processor, but it's not what I bought it for. I'm going to build a much faster Ryzen 9 rig with a dedicated graphics card. I will update after I build the rig, and put the monitor thru it's paces.... Show more

Great 2k monitor
Great monitor has no problem keeping up with the 6900xt. Color is great. No blur that I have noticed. Works well with my dual boot system of Windows 11 pro and Ubuntu 20.04.... Show more

Great for the Price
This is a great monitor for the sale price. The color calibration needed significant adjustment and the on screen menu can be difficult to navigate (I find nipple navigation is easier than soft-mapping directionals to a row of menu buttons).Aside from that, the monitor looks good after calibration and is plenty bright for my needs. One weird thing worth noting though was that my MacBook auto-detected HDR even when the monitor wasn’t in HDR mode, so it was very washed out until either enabling HDR on the monitor or disabling HDR in the computer’s display settings.... Overall Monitor performs smoothly
The only issue I've had with this product is the HDMI cable that came with it wasn't capable of putting out 240Hz. Now i could have just gotten a faulty cable which is why the product still got 5 Stars. It gets the job done with zero complaints from me.... Show more

Pretty Decent for the Money
The price on this 27" VA 240Hz monitor is great. The only other with similar specs is a Samsung for about twice the price. My friend does have the Samsung and it does have a bit less light bleed through, but it really isn't that much different. Otherwise they are pretty equal. This monitor has a very solid stand; might be the most solid I have personally seen. ( Out of AOC, Samsung, and LG's similar products. ) If you have to have the best, get the Samsung. If you don't have a great attention to detail and/or you need to save like $300, get this monitor. You won't be disappointed.I have attached a screenshot of the light bleed... That being said, this is not how it looks during normal operation.... Show more

Super Smooth 1440p Monitor
I've been using a 1080p 240hz monitor for a while thinking that there isn't really a reason to upgrade until some friends have been pushing and I've seen this monitor in ads. 1440p is so crisp compared to 1080p and if you think 240hz is overkill, I'll tell you this; Games that are hard locked at 60 look smoother because it's exactly 1/4th the refresh rate so it's technically still in sync with the monitor. FreeSync Premium is also a bonus. Get this monitor and forget about upgrading for a long time.... Show more
