I love the scent of Earl Grey tea. I researched bergamot based fragrances online and found a link to the top 10 bergamot based fragrances. Acqua di Parma Blue Mediterraneo Bergamotto was one of the top 10 listed. I am so glad I tried it without ever being able to smell it beforehand. It is so fresh and appealing. I really purchased it for my own enjoyment since I adore this scent so much. I wish it came in an Eau de Parfum as well as the Eau de Toilette, since the EDT doesn't have the staying power for me to be able to smell it a few hours after I have applied it. Absolutely magnificent

The classic Colonia by Acqua di Parma is probably my favourite scent in the world. The Blu Mediterraneo line combines some notes from the classic cologne with mediterranean scents that I am very familiar with. This Bergamotto di Calabria is lovely, unisex (my partner and I both use it), fresh and summery. The bitter citrus notes make a refreshing change for the summer months and especially for a holiday by the Mediterranean sea.

Aqua di Parma

I bought this fragrance as a gift for my son's thirty fifth birthday. He first started using aqua Di Parma in his teens and after trying a few, he settled on the blu Mediterranean one. He has used it ever since, but I also buy it for him once a year on his birthday as I associate this fragrance with him. I have lovely memories of him using it as a child and as an adult which I will treasure always.

Disappointed

It's my own fault...I ordered it after not having tested the scent for months. I usually love a bergamot based scent, but this smells cheap and industrial. I do love the packaging. It's turned out to be an extremely pricey room scent that I spray occasionally in my powder room.

Divine

This is a stunning fragrance that is unisex and works well through all the seasons of the year. It’s fresh yet warm and has a really sophisticated finish. It wears well and the sillage lasts all day. The fragrance will definitely get you compliments!

Fits The Bill

I bought this as a 13th birthday present for my son. The partner was so knowledgeable, that even in my son's absence this was the perfect fit for him.It is subtle enough to wear at school as well as events, without drawing unnecessary attention.It is absolutely lovely! It's lasted nearly a year and a half, and he's getting another bottle for Christmas.

My favorite

Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo bergamotto di calabria 75ml edt Unisex is hands down my favorite fragrance. It's a refreshing and light scent that is perfect for both men and women. I love the combination of bergamot and other citrus notes that create a fresh, clean aroma. The fragrance is long-lasting and I can still smell it on myself, even hours after I applied it.

Picked up a gift set of Acqua Di Parma's Bergamotto Di Calabria from John Lewis over the festive period after randomly checking out some of the fragrances on their shelves. I had never heard of the brand before but was instantly attracted to this scent upon first smelling the test card. Strong citrusy notes (bergamot and citron) and underlying hints of ginger, benzoin and vetyver make this a perfect fragrance for summer and day time use. The pleasant freshness of this fragrance is testament to the high quality ingredients used in its creation and the oils contained within can work to raise the spirits. Some reviews around the net state the odour only lasts for between 30-45 minutes but for me I find it goes as far as three to four hours. I picked up the 150ml bottle and feel confident it will last me a decent length of time even with regular use. If you can pick up a gift set (I am unsure if these are John Lewis exclusive) you will also receive a 75ml size body lotion and shower gel, both of which smell just as good as the spray itself. Although quite pricey, I would highly recommend Bergamotto Di Calabria. I have had numerous compliments about my new purchase and it has quickly become my most popular scent. If you are looking for a fresh, uplifting summer fragrance you need not look any further than this effort by Acqua Di Parma.

Pleasantly suprised!

I received a small sample and I was surprised by it. It has a soft natural summer smell. If you’re looking for a fragrance that is going to leave a trail as you walk along, this is not it. In that sense, it is a true eau de cologne. To my untrained nose, I don’t really get the bergamot and citron top notes. For me, it’s the cedarwood and musk which lingers and I can pick up. Although there is a woody aspect to the fragrance, it is still light and summery (maybe that’s the bergamot lifting it up). That said, I don’t like too citrusy fragrances hence why I was pleasantly surprised and like Bergamotto Di Caabria.

Sophisticated, but short lived

Incredible aroma, smells fantastically woody and cirtusy, but unfortunately need at least 5 sprays to smell, and that only appears to last an hour tops. My wife agrees, the Parfum blend appears lower, more of an aftershave level of 2% than an Eau to Toilette level of 4-8%.5 stars for smell1 star for durationAverage thus 3 stars
