This is a tricky time as of course I know he loves red wine and also a nice glass of Cognac. My wife made her usual comment a day or two before, asking Had I got him the usual bottle or two of red or some Brandy No, I announced triumphantly, I had embarked, courtesy of the nice lady on the after shave counter in John Lewis, Trafford Centre, on a completely new theme and bought him the Mandorlo di Sicilia which shares the lovely blue flask of my usual choice and also those lovely fragrant yet subtle smells that remind one of summer holidays, blue vistas, charming people and scenery. In addition she presented me with a nice carrier bag and also lots of samples so that he can try this and also my usual choice before he commits. Absolutely Unisex

This is not just a women's fragrance. This is unisex and can be worn by both men and women. All of Aqua Di Parma's Blue line smell incredible. Beautiful citrus scents at a very reasonable price. This would absolutely be a five-star fragrance if it had any longevity. You put this on and smell amazing for about an hour. Then it becomes a skin scent that will hang around for a few hours. If you love citrus fragrances, any of the Blue Med Line from Aqua Di Parma is right down your alley, but buy a BIG bottle and spray heavy. Then you'll probably need to reapply after a few hours.

Summer

I received a sample of this Fragrance with an online purchase, It smells amazing, so fresh The scent opens with top notes of Bergamot, Lemon and Grapefruit, middle notes are Pink Pepper, Jasmine Petals and Fig Nectar. Base notes are Fig wood, Cedar-wood and Benzoin. You can definitely pick up the grapefruit and jasmine, just like summer in a bottle. Would definitely recommend. I think all the scents in the Acqua di Parma Mediterranean range smell divine and well worth the splurge. Another favourite to check out is the Acqua Di Parma Blu Mediterraneo - Mirto Di Panarea. They all just smell like summer in a bottle and not too heavy.

Actually, this is the only perfume I have tested once in-store and immediately bought the next day (full size). This fragrance distinguishes itself from a lot of other aquatic scents as it opens up with not only citrus notes, but also with myrtle, which immediately is already so captivating and uplifting to smell. As the fragrance settles down, it smells even more refreshing, classy, and clean from all the well-blended aquatic, floral, juniper, and amber notes. Very versatile

Love this fragrance! I got a sample size with a Space NK purchase and am so glad I did. Will definitely be purchasing a full size bottle. When first applied onto the skin it smells super sweet and raves of ripen figs. Once settled it turns musky, citrusy with a slight sweetness. Very sophisticated fragrances. I feel you can use it in the summer but also would work perfectly in the winter with all the musky notes. I did have to reapply it after a few hours but that’s normal with an eau de toilette.
