I like it well enough, but it's not the most original or memorable. Dark, dark green, bitter citrus, slightly powdery lavender, and strong woods/spices. It doesn't smell quite as "barbershop" as I would have expected from the lavender black pepper combo, but it has a small hint of that feel. Overall it mainly smells like a decently high quality but fairly generic, very masculine fresh woodsy and green scent.

Anise-almond-vanilla. I don't find this complicated but it's definitely unique. Fits right in with the rest of the Mediterraneo line, no big projection but long-lasting close to skin. Somehow the vanilla tells me it's more on the feminine side. It's marketed as a unisex fragrance and it is. I can easily visualize a dark Italian gentleman with chest hair peaking out of his white, crisp shirt that's kept unbottoned wanting to seduce that beautiful American tourist. It's a solid 'like' but I'm not 'in love' with this fragrance. That can change though.

On paper this is a sweet delight, a beautiful gourmand. On skin it maintains that scent but adds something else which some people have identified as plastic. I can see that. I think it's the almond and anise working together to make an accord that could be either spice and amaretti, or plastic, depending on how your nose interprets it. I really like this scent but that plastic accord does hold me back a bit from jumping into a bottle.

This has become my signature scent. It was intentionally done from the moment I first smelled this luscious and luxurious scent. Warm notes of almonds and vanilla take the breath away from anyone I walk past. I receive compliments on a daily basis when I am out and about. Our workplace has a scent free policy but not one person has complained that my clothes smell of this scent. When people think of me, they think of this scent. I will be repurchasing this for life. A proud client of Acqua di Parma since 2016. ❤️
This perfume is absolutely beautiful. It’s a completely different perfume to anything I have ever purchased, even though it’s Oriental, Floral which are my favourite Perfumes. But the smell to me is nothing like either of them. It was a blind buy and was instantly love at first spray/smell. The only problem with it is the longevity is a bit of a let down. But I do find that with a lot of perfumes I purchase, so it could be just me. So I pile it on and end up spraying it everywhere, my body, hair and clothes. I actually sprayed quiet a bit of it on my pyjamas and body at about 9.00pm last night and I can still smell it on me this morning. It is a stunning perfume that I am SO glad I took the plunge and bought. I will definitely be repurchasing it as soon as it runs ... MoreThis perfume is absolutely beautiful. But this time I will purchase the 150ml bottle not the 75ml bottle. So if you are after a perfume that is a bit different to the normal boring perfumes, then I would definitely give this one a try. I highly recommend it!!!
Initially this has a light fruity scent then I find everything blends together into a faded clean scent. Sadly this does not last any time on my skin even if I apply multiple layers but I do have this issue with many fragrances. I don’t know if it because it fades so fast but after a few minutes on my skin it’s a nice fresh scent but with nothing noticeable it could be any clean soap scent. It’s unisex not too fruity or floral and I think it could work great as a layering scent but for me it’s just too bland on my skin.
This is the most under rated perfume. I have no idea why it’s not more appreciated. It’s extremely unique in being a true natural vanilla, photorealistic as opposed to that candle vanilla bean smell or tonka. It opens with a slight root beer note as the vanilla mixes with the almond and vanilla then grays down to a vanilla and natural Almond ( no marzipan or amaretto notes) this is an EDP full of naturals rather than aroma chemicals so it doesn’t last or project that well. It holds longer on your clothes, I can’t recommend this enough if you want a non saccharin natural gourmand
I never write reviews, but I MUST for this one. It is by far THE BEST scent I have ever smelled in my life. I have been wearing this every single day for the last 5 years and can honestly say it is my FAVOURITE!!! #1 scent by a landslide. The price point is high, but that is because the quality is high. Italians know what they're doing!! I continue to receive countless compliments when I walk past others from both men and women alike!! I love it I love it I love it!!!!! 💗💗💗💗💗
Let me start by saing I love the the Blu Mediterraneo series, I have worn on and off during the last 15 years many of their fragrances. This line is meant to not only feature a note but also capture a place in the Mediterranean. I lately discovered Cedro di Taormina, that reminds me of a vacation I had in the gorgeous Sicilian beach town of Taormina. The frag captures some of the fire of the Etna volcano (not far from Taormina) along with the freshness of citrus and cedar. The opening is the lighter citrus feel of lemon with a whiff of fresh basil. The heart is lavender and black pepper, they capture the heat of Etna. A tiny bit of cistus and vetiver have a cooling effect on the drydown. Cedro di Taormina has a solid 6 hour longevity and moderate sillage. It is ... Finally, I've found the scent I've been searching for to end what feels like my never ending pursuit. This is one of the few, the very few fragrances that had my heart from the moment I sprayed it until it wore off. So often a fragrance I enjoy just doesn't work with my body chemistry or I absolutely love the opening and it turns on me later on. I'm also a fan of vanilla fragrances but wanted something I could wear throughout the summer that wasn't too heavy and this was it. The almond, the anise, the vanilla, it's exceptional and I'm sold. It wears pretty close to me and has decent longevity, but because I can't get enough, of course I wish it was stronger, however I have zero issues spraying this all day. In my top 3 fragrances of all time.
