This perfume is my go to favourite now. It has so many layers and as it’s oud the scent is very strong. The spice scent works really well in this perfume and it is quite a powerful scent in the perfume as a whole. Scent lasts the whole day but I will say it probably is not for everyone with it being such a strong smell. Worth the price as a little lasts the whole day.

I got a free sample of this with my latest John Lewis order. It is obviously meant for men, but I tried it on myself. The initial smell was very strong and spicy. A very pleasant scent. However, it had disappeared almost completely within an hour of applying! I would be so disappointed spending so much for the full size versions for something that does not last.

I received this as a sample and it was love from first sniff! Absolutely gorgeous scent, I immediately wanted to buy full size! HOWEVER. After 2-3 hours I couldn’t not smell anything! My friends tried it too and the same happened to them. Not sure if it’s the samples fault or is it low quality of the perfume… I’m SO disappointed as I think it could have become my all time favourite

I was sent a sample of this. According to other website, it's for men, but I think it is lovely. Its the smell of pure elegance of enjoying a cigar in a library room full of leather books and old wooden furniture. I'd love a home fragrance or a candle in this scent, but it also makes an incredibly nice perfume. It also mellows to a nice scent that sint quite so striking but still beautifully unusual.
This is what you need to have if you are in the market for oud. This is what reminds me of Dubai and luxury. It is fabulous. Definitely EDP DNA and it is a performance beast. I get excited each time I wear itAmazing fragrance which has a very smooth Oud that is noticeable but not overpowering. Long last so only a few sprays required.
ADP are a great fragrance house, Irecieved a sample of this and as an Oud lover, it was a nice surprise! Despite this is marketed as gender neutral however, I still felt this was better on my partner compared to myself. This is a more subtle Oud fragrance and lovely for the end of autumn/ winter. If you enjoy the more traditional oriental scents/ ouds, this may not be as strong a wear / long lasting as you usually like.
I received a sample of this with a recent order. I would say that this scent feels quite mature and intense. There is a definite warmth and spice to this fragrance and it would not be for everyone. But for those who like heavy, somewhat masculine scents, this is good! Lasts a long time too. I enjoyed using but not sure if I would purchase given the price.
I gave this sample to my husband. Very different to his usual preference. However it was a mature, sophisticated and complex scent. It lasted all day which hasn’t previously been the case with Aqua di Parma. Although this was lovely to try as a sample, he ultimately prefers citrus based scents so probably won’t buy this one, which was much smokier in nature.
The staying power of this scent is impressive as it lingers more than ten hours which is really unusual for me. It started off warm and spicy but quickly turned into a more masculine woody scent. However after several hours the scent is warm and sweet. I would buy it if it didn’t have the masculine mid notes. Obviously quality ingredients though.
I like a woody scent so was pleased to receive a sample of this. On initial application though I wasn't sure if this would be for me as the raspberry is very dominant but once it has settled the woodiness really comes through together with some spice. Some oud scents can be overpowering but I think this is really well-balanced and not too heady . for me it is an Autumn or Winter scent and it is masculine. Although I love its scent I think I shall be tempted to buy a bottle for my husband but stick to Chanel Cuir de Russie for myself.
