I looked so much forward to this new products, however, after having tried them on my both eyes, with different prescriptions (one for Astigmatism, another not), I would say that my favorite remains Acuvue Trueye. This Oasys seems too thick and too hard for me. Because of this new design, the edge rubbed my inner eyes. The contacts may contain more moisture, but the comfort was not ideal.

I find the lenses to be too thin and fragile. They don't maintain their shape well when removed and often fold easily, resembling little "contact tacos." In comparison, I'm accustomed to using Air Optix plus HydraGlyde for Astigmatism, which are sturdier and adhere better to the eyeball. The current lenses struggle to stay in my eye for the entire day. I honestly thought that they were daily contacts when I first opened them. I will stick with Air Optix!

I purchased 1 year’s worth of ACUVUE Oasys for Astigmatism contact lenses from Discount Contact Lenses because I was able to save a significant amount of money off local resources and other online retailers. The Oasys for Astigmatism fit much better and was more comfortable to wear than another type preferred by my ophthalmologist that was a once a month lens.I wore soft contact lenses 30 years ago, then had RK surgery to correct my vision. Over time I’ve developed astigmatism with one eye being +6.50 and the other +3.50. The ACUVUE Oasys was one of only a handful of brands which would go high enough in the correction to enable me to use them effectively. From the first time I put in my trial pair I was sold on the Oasys for Astigmatism’s comfort and fit. The ACUVUE Oasys was one of only a handful of brands which would go high enough in the correction to enable me to use them effectively. From the first time I put in my trial pair I was sold on the Oasys for Astigmatism’s comfort and fit. Previous brands had moved around too much on my eye and were uncomfortable in a few hours. With the Oasys I can put them in and go for six hours comfortably and my vision fluxuations are much less pronounced.Discount Contact Lenses sent me the right items the first time and at a price which made me smile. I will definitely consider them the next time I need contact lenses and I would recommend their service to others.
I would give them 5 stars as they are great lenses. Very lightweight and comfortable, but for me I had a problem with them being too flimsy. I had difficulties putting them in as they would fold every time. I ended up returning them and will order my regular brand. Probably be great for folks who have worn contacts for a long time.
I have always used Acuvue Oasys but I recently went to a new doctor that prescribed me a different contact. I figured I would try it out but was not sure. I hated them and they were awful. I had the doctor redo my prescription back to the Oasys as they were much better on my eyes. They are thin and the actual prescription is closer to my glasses than any of the others I have tried in the past. Very comfortable to wear long term too.
I have been using these contacts for the past month. It's my first time using astigmatism contacts, and it is definitely harder to use than the regular Acuvue ones I used to wear. The lens is much larger and flimsier, so it makes it difficult to put on. I also have this recurring problem where my vision is blurry after I put in the contacts, and it's something I am still working on. Not sure if it's because it's such a large lens and I'm still getting used to that.
This product for me has been the most comfortable. I have tried many different lenses for my astigmatism and none felt like that sit correctly on my eye. The other lenses I tried seemed to move around and made my eye very tired. Another issue I was having is my eyes normally tend to be dry and with lenses they are even more dry. These lenses help with moisture and my eye does not feel the fatigue and dryness that it had when wearing other lenses.
These contacts have always been my first choice. They're very comfortable even after a whole day of wearing them, I never even have to use eye drops to keep them hydrated while wearing them, and they never get stuck behind my eye/out of place. Those are all things I've experienced when trying any other contacts out. They're a bit thicker/heavier than standard contacts, not for astigmatism, but still thinner/lighter than any other brands I've tried. They also last an incredibly long time. I personally don't wear them on a daily basis anymore but that's for reasons that have nothing to do with the contacts themselves, that being said, if I'm only wearing them a couple of times, I stretch the time frame they're "good" for, and I've had no issues doing so. Some pairs have even lasted over a year after opening while being worn sparingly, though that's against the recommended usage, I just figured I'd mention it in case any one else does that.
i've been using these contacts for about a decade now. What I love about them is they are super comfortable and they are one of the best options I have for my prescription. However, I have noticed in the past year, the quality has gone down quite a bit. When I used to wear these contacts a year ago, maybe more, I could get a month of multiple uses off a single pair, sometimes more. now I notice they are only usually comfortable and hold their prescription for one use. and often the second use they are uncomfortable and get damaged easily. every use the prescription weakens and they get scratchy. They Advertise 2 week daily wear. I wish they would last that long for me. before writing this review I already had visited my optometrist to wean out other possibilities. ... Morei've been using these contacts for about a decade now. Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism [Astigmatism Contact Lenses] Acuvue - 6 Pack
A new generation of astigmatism correcting contact lenses that combine visual stability with the exceptional comfort of HYDRACLEAR Plus technology. The result is consistently clear vision and a smooth and silky feel – even for people with an active lifestyle. Acuvue Oasys for astigmatism are made from silicone-hydrogel, are exceptionally breathable, UV filter, and have a visibility tint for easier handling. The Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism with Hydraclear Plus contact lenses can be worn continuously for a week and then discarded, following your optician's confirmation. If worn for a week continuously, they must be discarded, if worn during the day only – can be worn for 2 weeks. The UV filter in contact lenses increases the protection of the cornea from the dangerous ultraviolet radiation. However, lenses do not cover the entire eye or eye area, so the combination of contact lenses that have UV filter and sunglasses is the ideal protection against harmful UV rays. The production of Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism contact lenses with certain parameters has been discontinued. These versions are no longer available to order.
