Excellent monitor speaker for those who have limited space.Soundscape is excellent, with great depth and clarity.High and mid frequencies are exceptional for a monitor speaker of this size.The low end lacks punch, but it is a LOT BETTER then I expected of a 4" wooferDefinitely worth the money, if one can afford it!!

Compact and Beautiful

These speakers are so tight and beautiful sounding right from the box, loads of features on the back to get the best for your needs, I'm going to use a pair (as satelites) with an Adams subwoofer on my Roland TD50 for recording .. cymbals, ride and hats sound bright and crystal clear, very happy and a great price from PMT.. :-)

Great for a small room with a great tone

Surprising / Loud / Detailed / Good Value

There are many good internet A4v reviews and I agree with the typical highlights:I was surprised overall by how much sound comes out of such a small speaker!They go louder than I expected and how do they get so much bass from such a small driver?The sound is great quality is very detailedGood enough to use as a monitor and listening to musicDetailed but less "harsh" than other monitors I have used like Mackie HR624In a small room for DJ rehearsal and studio use with a close nearfield (2 to 3 ft away) listening position - I don't see how the experience could be improved. For a larger room or increased distance the A7v might be better (but the A4v does go loud enough and seems better value).
