Absolutely top quality couldn't be happier. The quick settings on the back make it really easy to get a great sound straight out of the box. These have so much clarity and low end and have helped hear everything in my mix more clearly. Really looking forward to trying out the Sonarworks stuff too.

I could not get a satisfactory result from my Yamaha HS8s in my smallish room so I decided to try the ADAM A7Vs running Sound ID software. I find the A7Vs are better suited to my room and even before running Sound ID they had a tighter, drier sound with a more controlled bottom end. They are front-ported, unlike the Yamahas, which obviously makes a difference. The Sound ID software identified fairly small discrepancies in the room so it didn't make a huge difference to the monitors' sound once it was running.Overall they are brilliant monitors that are lovely to listen to and very flexible.

Overall:I just got these, so I have not fully tested them or calibrated them with Sonarworks yet, but I can say at least since I have had the T7Vs, I would expect the A7Vs to sound great. And they do. I think there were worth the wait. They are smaller than I thought they would be which is great. The design looks very good. The back volume finally has a notch you can feel when you want them balanced at 0db. Setup was easy. I like the buttons for customizing, but there are more options to customize deeper with remote software. I'm not sure if the software is available at the time of this short review, but it's nice to see more options to customize the monitors.

I needed monitor/s for DJ practice and critical listening in a small studio environment.YES! The £590 A7v is loud with luxurious accurate bass, punchy, controlled, detailed & flattering with no distortion or harsh treble (on my analogue A&H mixer at least)There is no comparison or doubt - the A7v blows away the competition at this price point in my view. No harshness or brightness just all the bass, punch, detail and volume I want. The A4v is also excellent and better value - but I wanted a little more punch and the A7 provides this for my preferred listening level.A good replacement for my Mackie HR624/s (slightly too harsh)Reviews advise an 8 hr burn-inBalanced connection cables usedFast next day delivery from PMTWould buy again
The are hands down some of the best and accurate near field monitors you're gonna find anywhere in this price range. Can't say enough great things about them.
I am listening to these now and have to see the balance between the crisp highs and tight bass are perfect. I played with the software over ethernet which connected flawlessly and ended up making new changes because the default flat settings are just that good. For the size and the price I don't think you can find a better speaker.
I use these in my home studio and so far have been impressed with them. They were packaged safely to prevent any damages and were a breeze to set up. I like how you can adjust the frequencies of the speakers to fit your particular room and situation too. Besides looking excellent these speakers provide a clear and balanced sound for all your mixing/mastering needs.
The sound from these monitors are beautiful, whether classical to dance to live bands, every tiny nuance can be heard. You can tailor the sound to the room you are in, thus making the sound just how you want.Straight out of the box they sound stunning, but even more so after their recommended 8 hour burn in.The are also louder thanthe previous A7X'sOverall. Excellence in audio accuracy.
These are a definite upgrade to my previous Mackie HR624's, which themselves proved to be a fine workhorse for more than 16 years. If these ADAM A7V's last as long I will be a happy bunny.
Before these monitors I had a pair of Adam A5X's and while I liked them I just wanted more, They were lacking a bit in the low end for my now professionally treated room but I didn't feel the need for a sub as it would be overkill for the space and as I couldn't get A7X monitors anymore I went ahead and pulled the trigger on these. They do not disappoint I must say they are leaps and bounds beyond what I could imagine. The stereo image and spread is fantastic as well as the highs I'm used to with Adams ribbons and the lows are exactly what my ears and room needed. Not to mention the DSP and ability to use room calibration right on the monitor and not as a plugin is a huge, huge bonus. I love them and don't ever see myself upgrading anytime soon. Do yourself a favor ...
