Easier than expected to apply

Excellent product, good instructions, great instructional video, great packaging

I followed the instructions and watched the video which helped so that I got my paint ready to fully accept and protect the clear coat on my truck. It was a long 10 hour day but well worth it. My only caveat is that this kit is, in my opinion, sized for a standard car or small sized SUV. I have a full size RAM 1500 Crew Cab Truck. There was barely enough surface prep to do just the painted areas only -- not enough to do the complete vehicle (trim, glass, bumpers, or wheels. After applying the graphene to the painted areas that were prepped there was only enough to do the painted areas and then do the touch-up after going over the surface with the UV light. I have less than 5mL left of the 60mL bottle. Please wear the gloves, there is a nice warning label on the graphene product, please read it. I'm a nurse, that's my PSA. My only recommendation for this product would be to make one or two more kits for mid-size SUVs or large sedans (e.g. BMW 7-series or MB S-Class, etc.) and an even larger kit for full size trucks and SUVs (e.g. Chevy Suburban, RAM 1500, Ford F350, etc.). I think if you had about 50-75% more liquid product in the kit for the mid-size SUV it would be perfect (obviously it would cost more also) and for large trucks and SUVs it would likely need to double the liquid product quantity.

Used the graphene soap in a cannon to break down the oils etc. Then follow up with Adams blue soap. Doing this in my garage btw, not in the sun. Temp is about 15 degrees C. Well low and behold, I have quite a few water spots. So much for ceramic coating hardness and the prevention of water spotting.Frankly, I doubted applying a ceramic coating, but went against my gut. It is no where near bullet proof, and now polishing off a ceramic coating is going to be sooooo much harder than simply stripping off a spray on wax coating before I can polish out the water spots.Ceramics still need same maintenance as other paint protection. But something goes wrong, look out. I should have gone with spray coating that I am more than willing to apply every 3rd or 4 th wash to maintain protection. They are so easy these days. That way, if any water spotting requires polish, easy peasy. Can't express the amount of regret I currently have spending CAD $150 on this only to have to **** myself to strip it off so I can remove water spots.

Great on auto. Not for marine
24 October 2022

On recommendation from my brother who used the advanced ceramic on his marine motor I decided to give this a try. Emailed Adam's prior to purchase before I used this on my new boat to verify it would work for marine applications.Tested out on my truck to get the hang of it. Truck looks great.Went to the boat, and first week or so I'd give this a 5 star rating. After 5 times in the water, less than 20 hours total, the surface of the boat below the waterline has zero hydroscopic properties anymore. I didn't expect to get 9 years out of it for marine use, but I was hoping at least a year. Surfaces above the waterline still holding up great, but the whole reason I did the boat was to be able to lightly spray the boat and not have scuzz. Looks like it's still ... MoreOn recommendation from my brother who used the advanced ceramic on his marine motor I decided to give this a try. Heads up...No microfiber applicator included
25 January 2023

I'm new to the Adam's products and just received my Graphene Advanced ceramic coating. It doesn't come with an applicator unless you buy one of their kits. I didn't need any of the other products they included with the kit since I had the "Prep" and the "Boost" type of product already. I just bought the coating alone and was surprised it didn't include the applicator. In the past I have used both Gyeon's and Kamikaze's ceramic coating and theirs did include an applicator when you bought "just" the coating which I think you'd expect. So far I used the Graphene Tire Dressing, Iron Remover and the Tire/Wheel Cleaner and they were great... I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone that wants to purchase the coating alone

I've used the normal ceramic coating 3 times this year, all went on easy and came off without issues, as per the directions if you forgot a spot or left it on too long just reapply and your fine. Well this is not the case for this product. Goes on the same without issue, however I was doing a friends new Silverado and did the 3x3 section as stated, less than 30sec later the rainbow disappeared and good luck levelling out the product. It was like it permatly dried on the black paint. Tried putting more on to reactivate it, nope didn't work.High spots all over, micro suede towel does nothing at the best of time even on the normal coating. So I just use a normal microfibre towel. Hopefully it doesn't effect the long term durability.Disappointed especially at the price i paid for this. Wont buy it again, will stick with Avalon King as i've done 5 cars this year with it and never had an issue.Positives: glossy as advertised

I have ceramic coated 4 of my cars with Adam’s advanced so it’s safe to say I’ve done my time and learned a few things along the way. The caveat is the my cars are garaged with the exception of my daughters Hyundai Sonata. All cars were paint corrected and surface contaminate removed, and all new with the exception of my daughters Sonata. She’s not quite fifteen yet so most it sits in front of my house. I wash it with a spray foam bath and a microfiber wash mit about every week or 2 with a couple spray washes when I was feeling too lazy to do it myself. So here’s something I noticed about the Sonata. I washed it yesterday as I normally do and the roof and hood sheeted water instead of beaded. I thought… that’s weird. So here’s something I noticed about the Sonata. I washed it yesterday as I normally do and the roof and hood sheeted water instead of beaded. I thought… that’s weird. So I thought maybe it was because it was really dirty from surface contaminants and soap. Nope! Not the case! I fully dried the car and sprayed water over the car again. The part of the car that faces the west and gets the most sun was significantly more degraded with regard to being water needing vs the rest of the car was beaded masterfully. I thought to myself, is it possible I applied it wrong? It’s certainly possible, although I kept it inside my garage for a week before letting it back outside. So… I’m doing a test. I reapplied another layer of Adam’s advanced ceramic coating from a new 60ml bottle (NOT SPRAY), and I’m going to only wash it by hand for a few months. Then I’m only going to put it through a power wash at the local car wash and see if that’s what is causing the degradation. There is a similar test where someone on YouTube sprayed heavy degreasers and other things on their Adam’s ceramic to see what would cause it to degrade. I wouldn’t imagine that the local car wash was using chemicals so strong it’s taking the ceramic coating off. There’s no degradation anywhere else on the car. I suspect its the Sun, which is disheartening of course. All that said perhaps is my misunderstanding of how ceramic protects your car from the harmful sun and elements. It’s only been a few months of summer! Anyway, I’ll write another review update after 3 and 6 months with the little to a lot of abuse phases.

So far, so good!

So far this product has worked great over the past 2 months on my personal vehicle. Much easier application than Crystal Serum Light. Looking forward to seeing how this hold up in the harsh Wisconsin winter. Depending how it works I may switch to using this product more on customers vehicles. I have had nice, tight water beading along with good hydrophobic properties. Curious to see how it does in the long run with all the road salt and such. The graphene detail spray works as a great drying aid as well after a wash!

Things I learned
21 March 2023

Very Happy with the Result. Bought a new 2023 RAV4 limited so very little Prep needed. The morning I started coating was perfect 60 degrees 50% Humidity and an overcast day.. I watched the videos and read what I could on application and maybe it was just me not getting everything out of the info I read but here are just a couple of more points things I think would help a novice like me. I bought the whole advanced kit and it was definitely worth it. Had everything I needed. It was easier than I thought it would be I was pretty nervous before I started. The things I learned are it didn't take very long before I completed a door section before it was ready to level maybe a minute or so. The UV light was a huge help I was pretty darn careful but with the UV light I was definitely able to get more even coverage. One thing I learned that I think would be helpful is that the garage light may be good but it will not show all the high spots. I needed to pull out of the garage and the natural light showed much better what I could not see in the garage. I did the hood front end and a quarter panel before I pulled out and it was almost to late to correct the couple of high spots on the hood. (Watch the video they have on how to fix high spots early is better) After that I pulled the car out into the natural light after every 2 sections. Quarter panel and door/ hatch and roof section never leaving to long between application and getting into natural light to clean up any high spots. Once I learned that it was a snap and turned out great.. I still have almost 1/2 the Bottle left. I will be putting on a second layer this weekend. Very happy with the results so far..

It is now two months since I applied to my 2022 BMW X7. It is AMAZING!! The results are all marvelous. Everyone was baffled at the results.I was afraid at first to apply, since I had no experience with applying Ceramic/Graphene Coatings. I had read the horror stories online; not to mention the coast and anxiety of having to polish the coat off the surface of the paint, and potentially ruining it (also invalidating the warranty). I got a brilliant idea as I was doing my laundry in that the finish on the GE washing machine was metallic and similar to that on a car. I decided to do a practice run, and it was phenomenal to allow me to practice my skill. I did two coats and worked up the nerve to do it on my car. I decided to do a practice run, and it was phenomenal to allow me to practice my skill. I did two coats and worked up the nerve to do it on my car. I did the proper prepping and proceeded to the coating, which I did slowly and methodically. I will say that the UV flashlight was worthless. I relied rather on a bright LED flashlight. It gave me more of a contrast. In regard to high spots, it was not a factor since I followed a very methodical path around the car. There were two spots that were the size of a quarter which I noticed the following day, and even though time had passed beyond the optimal window, they still buffed out when reactivated. In the end there were no "high spots". I did put a second coat, and it was easier as an application, and really took things to another level. I did have a third of the bottle left, which I will apply on other items in the house. If there was a rating above 5 stars, I would give it that level.I cannot say enough good things about this product.
