The barricade is really an impressive shoe - the foot platform is outstanding and there is no side give at all. Fit to size. Worth every penny.

Good Pair of Trainers that Take Some Breaking In

Size wize they were a little narrow but that's a general adidias shoe thing .Played with them on for the first time and was admittedly in quite a bit of pain, likely due to the narrowness of the shoe. BUT, no blisters!On court the shoes support the foot well and have excellent grip and stability when moving about the court - I'm an agressive, reactive player so grip and durability is important to me.The day after was a league match, and I was pleasantly surprised to find no pain at all. So, they took around 2 hours of intense play to break in the day before. There was some minor rubbing on the left heel but they will soften up I'm sure and didn't cause unusual amounts of discomfort for new shoes.My only real negative is the lacing system. Kinda weird, but in a good way...

I have had all sorts of tennis shoes over the years, but was yet to give Adidas a go. At first I was like: boy, aren't these the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever bought!!! But after 4 days playing matches this week, I am starting to like them.I haven't needed any plasters, nor have I had any blisters. They are quite clunky & heavy, but this adds to their solidity I guess. They are also quite... noisy!So my take on it is that they will NEVER be as comfortable as Asics or Yonex shoes will ever be, however I bought them because of their so-called durability. I am spending about £75 every 8 weeks on tennis shoes, so I was ready to compromise a little on comfort for the sake of durability. Same for the upper.Finally, the support is very good as well (and the size accurate), so you don't have to lace these up as tightly as some others. Verdict: 4 stars only due to them not being the most comfortable shoes, but definitely worth a try.

Rough few months

I always buy adidas, but these were rough for me. A solid month of taping for blisters on the Achilles before they broke in. Once they did these shoes were great for a while, but now the toes have split, and the stripes are peeling off. Was really hoping to get more life from these. Maybe that’s why Adidas has them on sale for $63.

Haven't used yet, I just bought for the price. I have have numerous Barracades like this
