Brilliant tennis shoe. I thought it would be stiff and needed breaking in but was good to go right from the start. Really impressed and extremely happy with this shoe.
Having played Tennis and Pickleball for over 40 years, these have features that I typically never encounter in a budget priced shoe. Just bought two more pairs. Toe drag guard is effective, My original pair doesn't have that metatarsal hole next to the big toe even after a solid year of use. Comfortable, stable, and the telltale squeak of stable sole rubber planting and gripping the court has remained solid for a year too.
I was surprised to find tennis gear on this site. But very happy that I did as the product was exactly what I was looking for and the price was the lowest I found, by far!
the shoe is fine, Academy is horrible. I tried to cancel my order 1 hoir after placing it and was denied. I tried to send it back after getting it and only received directions on returning it tonanstore. I libe in Arizona and there are no Academy stores. The shoe was 55% higher than the Adidas outlet store even though it was on sale. Academy is over-priced and not customer friendly.
I’m thrilled to have finally found a Padel shoe with a natural toe box that fits my wide feet. Previously, I had the ASICS Wide version, but it was too stiff and caused problems. Please note that adidas shoe sizing differs from ASICS; it is closer to Nike. I recommend trying on a similar adidas tennis pair in a store before ordering the right size here.
Shoes are very comfortable although they run about half size too big. I purchased them for about $50 which is a great value.
These have consistently delivered for me. A good neutral shoe with room for my custom insole ensures a great and comfortable fit. The rigidity at the midfoot makes such a huge difference.
